Hi Everyone,

I wanted to start a new thread regarding how we are handling the Normandy pre-sale and how we will be handling lithograph orders going forward.

Going forward during pre-sales and during the first week on the store there will be a limit of 3 Lithographs per customer. After the first week we will not put a limit on Lithograph purchases. While it is prefectly acceptable for people to sell their Lithographs if they so choose we also want to make them available to all members of the community first.

For the Normandy Lithographs we will cap purchases at 5 lithographs per customer. If you ordered more then 5 your order has been adjusted down to 5.

Good to hear. I don't mean to derail this thread, but is it known yet when the Normandy lithographs will be shipping?

Sounds good, I'll just have to prepare better for the next releases so I don't have to panic as supplies run down.

I approve of this. Its a perfectly reasonable step in pre-sales to give more fans a crack at them.

Yea, this is great. 3 is a good number, most people shouldn't even want to buy that many, but I guess for those who buy some for others it is helpful.

Sounds reasonable, and a good compromise at that. I'm curious though, how is "per customer" determined? Store account? Shipping address? Billing address? classified to prevent bulk profiteers from pinpointing the precise safety mechanism and thus knowing what exactly they would have to work around if they wanted to strike within that opening week window?

There is no real way to stop people who are able to use alternate addresses, IPs, payment methods, etc. The best they can do is pick out obvious offenders who don't have a completely different set of info they can use.

Finally! I think my constant PM's coupled with the board's incessant whining has actually done it. Only problem is I don't think there are any lithos scheduled to arrive in the near future. I guess there'll be a few more as DA2 comes closer.

Thank you Jedi and the people who got together to decide and orchestrate this. With there being such limited quantities, this solution should help cool down a lot of frustration floating around on the boards and in the hearts of the fans.
