I'd like to increase the amount of damage an item can do, instead of 2d12 (max for PC Items) and higher than 20d20 for monsters' claws..

I want to increase (Change / Add) the Damage Properties for Items (weapons & Claws), e.g. higher than 2d12, for example, I'd like to put 2d20 Damage on a Weapon, for any type of damage, so I can add the property: Magic Damage 2d20 or Acid Damage 4d10 to a sword (or whatever weapon). Is that more clear for you?
I don't want to increase the BASE Damage of weapons.. thats something distinctively different...
I know how to edit baseitems 2da to do what your referring to Lightfoot8...

Ok, I found an edited version of this 2da in a hak from Item Properties Extended custom hak..

I always used this in conjuction with hak, but it should work via override too (player probably wont see the new values, but thats not a big deal).
You will have to set those new itemproperties name to some valid text, like 0 - barbarian, see dialog.tlk or just give there values 1,2,3,4

List of strings is in dialog.tlk file, see list of custom content tool, I suggest Axe Murderer TLK tool.
However you cant make custom strings without new tlk - this is why itemproperties expanded uses it.

So, if I use this custom dialogue.tlk, I more or less need the players to download the tlk file essentially?
Any way around this? (I really don't care to use tlk, so if I can use some bogus string, that's fine)

exactly, so if you dont want TLK just change the values over 16777250 with values of string in default game dialog, but there are none which will match

if I leave it blank, what happens? like ****
furthermore, I don't really care if it comes up like nothing...
I will tell them in the item's description what the weapon deals in dmg..
Furthermore, if I don't have a string referrence, will the damage still be applied by the weapon (on hit)?

I think that **** wont let you choose the itemproperty in toolset. Damage should be applied. Well try it... you will see, and then tell us.

First - Your going to have to put in the custom tlk file when you make the items, so you will definitely want to do this in ANOTHER Module, this way you can READ What your doing to the items..
For if the string reference reads (full plate) how will you know what your adding?
Nevertheless, once your done creating the items, you will have to import them into the real module, which may take up some serious space on the palette, so the best way would be to like either put them in a store, or put them in a placeable object for reference by scripting..
(I'd probably use the second one)
This of course would allow you to create some very uber items which the PC's would need to know what special properties are applied to the items, for they would only see something strange or badstrref
I think someone found a solution to this problem, but I'm not sure if he is building anymore, as he shut his server down recently.... :/
