Durian Kaynor is a 'former' Grey Warden you can pick up along the way
with his own intriguing backstory, a new personal quest, new gifts, and a
few more surprises.

I'm hoping to have this new party member
finished asap, but I am stumbling over snags here and there. The major
one being this is my first project ever with the toolset. But I'm
catching on fairly quick. Things are running smoothly, and slowly, and
my main goal is not to just get it finished, but to get it finished with
as much quality as possible without slip-ups and whatnot.

You can get romantically involved with this party member, and he's made for
mostly "good" characters. (already have an idea of one for "evil"
characters that I'll work on after this).

My main problem is mostly just adding things into the main campaign itself.

If anyone has any helpful advice, or has done this before, I would gladly welcome any words of wisdom! Thanks in advance! ../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png

I recall that there are groups formed for the authors of companion mods to share their resources such that each new companions can compatible with each other. You could search for the group for helpful advice.



Also, several threads below, ladydesire has announced a project which create a framework for other companion mod to work on. You could discuss with her as well.

Custom class and companion core or Quad-C is a good start, as that is the primary purpose of the group. Extended Community Canon Project is another place to hang out, as we try to work together to interlock our projects into a coherent whole that fits into what Bioware created. Lealion the Mage and Tevinter Warden class and companions are my two projects (a total of 6 companions in all)
