Seeing as the majority of the Dragon Age game information is contained in excel files, it seems strange that we cannot upload excel files. Sharing excel files is an easy way for modders to share specific changes or show examples related to 2DA editing.
Please see if you can allow excel file uploads.

One reason not to allow them would be because Excel files can contain VB scripts and Macros, making them relatively dangerous to host on a web site. It wouldn't take much for somone to include malicious code in a spreadsheet...

There are projects with excel files uploaded. I guess these were done in the beta stage then?
Besides, you could at least allow zipped file uploads. Keeping in mind that the dazip format is essentially a zip file format, that shouldn't prove too much of a hassle.
