Flying around reading planet discription and.....

"A Jovian gas giant, Vem Osca ("weeping witness" in Iperian Volus) is a low-density hydrogen-helium planet with over 35 moons. Later this year, 33 of the moons will be visible from the planet's surface"

From the planets......surface?!     Suuure.  I'll buy that for a dollar.

on large planets, the surface is actually liquid hydrogen and hellium. The boiling point of the gasses increases as pressure increases, allowing the otherwise gaseous elements to condense at the ambient temperatures of the planet, even though you need to bring them down to under 10 degrees kelvin to condense them at earth atmospheric temperature.

So yes, surface.

Looking up at the sky was one of the actually enjoyable elements of ME1's uncharted planets. There were some breathtaking sci-fi views. Seeing 33 moons would be a cool experience.

I think the guy's pointing out that you can't land on a gas giant.

Aye, no landing on a gas giant. Whatever surface it has....I think the current theory for Jupiter is 'metallic hydrogen". Regardless, its like saying the interior of the sun has a 'surface'. Its a pointless argument, you would be crushed before you got close, and even if you could, you couldn't see anything. Not visually, not with radar or ladar, or whatever. Totally pointless.

Only thing I can come up with is that the writer was thinking the very edge of the planets atmosphere.
