Hello,

I'm not quite sure which forum this goes into, but I'm pretty sure this is something of a technical issue.
I'm trying to play through Mass Effect 2 on "Insanity" difficulty to get that achievement. I recently updated my video drivers. After getting my video cards working properly, I tried out ME2. Everything was reset, from the graphics settings to the key bindings, to the difficulty setting.

If I did not play my career while the difficulty was reset to "Normal," does that still count towards the achievement?

It most likely won't give you the achievement, in my opinion, I guess depending on how far you got.. if you got pass the really hard parts, like the collector ship i say keep going, otherwise might be safer to start over.

I got to the last recruitment mission before the Reaper IFF (in my case: Tali).

If it doesn't work, I'll be disappointed, but at least I'll know what's up.

Still, a sure response would be nice. (Not that I don't appreciate some speculation in the meantime.)
