I just played the game again recently and I got to wondering about this. There's a sinister looking alien face on the box art. What is it? Is it just art and isn't actually a part of the game, or is it forshadowing of a character still to come? The way it's featured prominently makes it seem like it would be the main threat/antagonist. Does anyone know?

The alien face, well it's just the eyes, above the title.
And I think that's Garrus anyway, you can just make out his visor.

Oh yeah I see it now. The ridges of the nose make it obvious I suppose. I'd never noticed before. It dosn't really look like a turian so I kinda thought it would turn out to be some uber-race that maybe created the reapers and makes an appearance at the end of part three, or something like that.

Nah, just Saren. best looking turian, although he was very similar to his own race.
