Correction: It's invisible, not invincible

Sorry about that.

Anyways. Yes, this happened to me in the gauntlet, when you need to face yourself. I manage to kill them, but still, very annoying:

Picture: maybe a little hard to see, but they are indeed invisible.

Yeah I assumed they were supposed to be invisible as well. I thought it was the whole "You must fight your counter-part", where they took the word counter part to the extreme.

I've been doing this part a lot before the 1.04 patch and i can tell you that this should not happen

They should be visible and have full gear (the same gear your party is wearing)

Strange. I played through it with my mage and my rogue, and I totally thought it was part of the quest.

I played through this about 6 times now and every time they were the same party as mine, same gear and everything. However this is my first after the 1.04 patch. Ahm, did they alternate something? or i'm just missing out on something?

Make sure your all patched up correctly.



Try this though if your playing the game installed to the harddrive delete the installation and play just from disc, IF you are playing not installed to harddrive then install it then try.

What do you mean by " patched up correctly"? You just accept a patch "yes or no" and done. I always play while connected to xbox live so i should have everything "new".

And i always played the game with the game installed, it just happened right after the 1.04 patch, but i only tested this once after, so i can't telll if this is going to happen again.

The only thing i can think about is maybe it has to do something with "what" their wearing. They're all wearing DLC equipment, but here Zevran dont wear anything with DLC and he is also invisible.

Troubleshoot until you narrow it down. If what you say about wearing run them in naked then.

I don't think this is new at all, although I'm not sure if it's a really a known bug either. People seem to always see the party members or never do. Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, I've always seen pitch black shade versions of my party. But look at these videos, from nearly a year ago:




Certainly not new with 1.04, so although I'm quite curious as to what causes it.

Like others, this is how I assumed it was supposed to look like. I played through it before 1.04 and it looked this way, they had a kind of ghost effect to them, just a slight outline.

I'm really confused now because i know for a fact that i've seen the others with the same gear and everything. If i haven't, i would not react like this and post a picture of it.



I guess the shades is normal then, but i'm still confused. If i get another shot at this i will try it over and over with different gear etc.

I was playing a rogue though I doubt it matters, I'm about to play through again, this time with a mage. I'll keep an eye on this area, when I get to it, to see if anything is different this time.
