As per above title. Each time i try to install NWN2 I get a DX error which states "String ERROR_DX_INSTALL was not found in the string table" :(

This error appears at the end of the installation process when the game is looking for the current version of DX.

Any help on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated as I'm unable to play NWN2 as I did on my old PC with XP :happy:file:///C:/Users/Digstar/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-2.pngfile:///C:/Users/Digstar/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-3.pngfile:///C:/Users/Digstar/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-4.pngfile:///C:/Users/Digstar/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-5.pngfile:///C:/Users/Digstar/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-6.pngfile:///C:/Users/Digstar/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-7.pngfile:///C:/Users/Digstar/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-8.pngfile:///C:/Users/Digstar/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-9.png

Go to Miscrosoft's download site and install the latest version of DirectX 9.0c (Redistributable). This will co-exist with DX 10 and 11 and will not overwrite those files.

I downloaded the Direct X (redist) file from Microsoft  and even though  I still had the string error, NWN2 installed no problems and didn't bomb out after the DX string error like previous attempts :)

After NWN2 was installed i then installed MoB and SoZ without a hitch and just hit the auto update button. The game is now working very well on my new PC :wizard: Thank you very much for your replies :o
