I'm a bit concerned about this move, simple as that. So....... ME2 is being released on PS3 - ok. That would make sense if Mass Effect 1 was on it, but it's not. Since Mass Effect is all about the story, and delving into every inch, what is the point in this move? I'm all for more people playing the game, but come on, anyone who really wanted to would have a 360 or pc by now!
It seems like a real waste of time. Those who really want it, will already have it (needs said again). It'll affect the rest of us too as Bioware gives time to (what appears to be) a glorified money-grab, instead of 100% to the incredible DLC support and work on ME 3.
I also imagine that ME3 will be longer in the works thanks to this. First Portal 2 and Valve - "hey Sony lets hug, btw everyone else, Portal 2 is now delayed", now Bioware. Nice one.
Hope I'm making sense. It just seems like a huge waste, that'll probably end in an OK port of the game, ME3 and DLC delays and other such crap, and the new PS3 communtiy demanding x,y and z so we all stand equal and Bioware wasting more time on that.
I just fail to see the point in this move. It was released on the PC and 360 - fair enough, there's 2 valid choices for people who want it. If you want it, own 1 or more of the above, most people do. If you want something, you go to it, you work for it. You don't wait for it to come to you, you show some commitment. Why waste time on people who don' really want the game:? What about your current community?
Lame move Bioware. Minus several respects: /
Why?!
