For the butthurt nerdragers railing against how 'unfair' this announcement is, please grow the eff up.
Porting this game to the PS3 takes nothing away from your game. If you bought the DLC, you chose to do so, and who knows if that's what the "hours of bonus content" on the disk is actually referring to. Regardless, you're out, what, $20 tops? Boo. Freakin'. Hoo. You still got to play the content WAY sooner than any PS3 owner will. It's just like going to the theater to watch a movie as opposed to waiting for it to show up on basic cable.
It's not like BioWare just said "hey guys, we're moving everything to the PS3, so you XBox and PC owners are SOL for future ME content, sucks to be you!" Really, let's keep things in perspective. Widening the consumer base is a good thing for the franchise and for the financial health of the company. Win-win, from where I'm standing.
You know, I'd agree with you, except for the fact that things like this have happened before where the 360 version of a game was nothing but a giant beta test. Then they move it to PS3, fix every little thing thats wrong with it, add in a few new locations, maybe a few more interesting people that add to the story (Think ME Galaxy there), now wrap that all up with new content/exclusive content that the 360 owners will never see, ala Tales of Vesperia, Batman Arkham Asylam, etc, and give the PS3 version content never playable by the 360 owners.
Furthermore, it feels like the 360 owners are not only ripped off by the PS3 version because often times it will come with free DLC that we paid for and it seems like not only a rip off but like we funded the whole PS3 version by buying all their ****.
