I am a fanboy. I'm a fanboy of the best and most preferable consoles and platforms. So you do have me on that account. Given that, who really isn't? If you were not an PS3/PC fanboy you wouldn't be fighting so hard to dispute everyone left and right who speaks out of tongue about the PS3. As if opinions are illegal. Back by "fact" or not I hardly see any actual fact just a bunch of critically-acclaimed opinions. Lol
So if everyone's a fanboy, then why call other people fanboys to begin with? You're contradicting yourself. I'm going to skip to the end, here, because the last part of your post is the most interesting and I don't feel like messing with the rest of it, as we'll just be going in circles.
Yet, who is to say that they are well-implemented? The fans, you, or the critics?
The games speak for themselves.
Yes, well-tested means little when bugs can be corrected through patches on XBL,
Not everyone has access to the internet. If the game is incredibly buggy upon release, there's really no excuse; patches should be reserved for unforeseen bugs here and there, and not be used to excuse lazy design and coding.
I'd never consider my camera "wonky/unconrollable" for any of my titles for the 360. It's never once crossed my mind.
Then you're not very analytical, and thus, you probably wouldn't be a good game designer or programmer.
You sound like you are nit-picking once again at the little things that tend to be very irrelevent.
No I'm not. Anyone knowledgeable about games knows that a decent camera angle is essential for the enjoyment of play. If you've never felt frustrated by a game's camera, then you've probably never played a game with a poorly-implemented one (Which I highly doubt, since you so obviously don't care about critical reviews and thus wouldn't necessarily be able to avoid one).
All programming is logical in one way or another, that's just an idiotic statement.
You do know that a lack of logic is usually why there are bugs in the first place, right? Good programming is logical. Buggy, broken programming is illogical.
And even logical programming can be unorganized, which leads to problems in the expansion of a game.
Do you know how to code a game? Unless you know how to do that you cannot speak on how "technical" the programming is.
As a Computer Science major (And one that focuses on the development of games) in my third year of college education, I've already programmed some basic games, so yeah, I kinda do.
They are subjective for the simple fact is that I've heard people say that despite the dated engine used in Mass Effect 2 the graphics are significantly beautiful in their own way. Once again you are breaching the gap between fact and opinion.
I don't care about graphics. Nowhere have I talked about graphics. I have talked about capabilities/technology, yes, but that was more about the physics/algorithms/mechanics/overall content, not about graphics (Although better graphics come with better technology).
