Its not like bioware is owned by microsoft so isnt like this was never gonna happen
Nothing shows that mass effect 3 is even effected yet
Alot bioware games are on ps3 dont see why they wouldnt do their most popular franchise...

I knew this was coming!!!! When bioware signed on with EA I told my wife it would go over to the PS3. I own a PS3, and a 360 and I really really love my 360 and I am kinda sad to see this go to the PS3 and turn multi platform. That's EA for you. I will continue to still play it on my XBOX 360 though. Although at least on the PS3 it will be on only 1 disc though that's not really a big deal. On the bright side atleast now everyone will get to know of truely UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME MASS EFFECT IS!!!!!!
You know, it's actually kind of ironic, as something not too different from this happened a couple of E3s ago; Sony fanboys were pissed off and incredibly envious while Xbox fanboys were laughing their asses off when FFXIII was announced for the Xbox 360 in addition to the PS3. Now, Mass Effect 2 is coming to the PS3, and Xbox fanboys are pissed off and incredibly envious while Sony fanboys are laughing their asses off.
So you see, in the end, the universe balances everything out.
What's more ironic is people forget that FF is originally a Nintendo game. Like Metal Gear, FF has been on a ton of systems.

I don't hate there owners either, my cousins have one; I just hate the console itself. It doesn't have very good online capabilities, due to the fact its online service is completely free. It being free means the have no extra revenue coming in to help upgrade the online play unlike Microsoft and The Xbox 360.
The fact that it's free has nothing to do with the online capabilities. Playstation made PSN a pass through service as opposed to end all destination like Live. And the "it doesn't have good online capabilities" argument is getting as tired as the "it doesn't have any games" argument of two years ago.
Damn people, wake up and realize that both systems have their strengths and weaknesses. Just because you may not be fortunate enough to own both does not mean that the one you own is king and the other one is absolute crap.
I have both consoles and played online with both of them... and I can tell you that the PSN is inferior to Live. I've found lag to be more prominent on the PSN and exclusive games on the PS3 with online capabilities are always awful (even the so called "Halo Killers"). For those who are saying the disc switch wont be on the PS3... you are right. Instead you will have to waite 5 minutes every time it installs a new mission on the system.

The PS3 isn't nearly as bad as that. Hell, mandatory install is becoming less and less common, and games like Final Fantasy XIII certainly prove that the system can live without installation at all. It's all a matter of programming it properly.

If you are experiencing lag it's not the PSN, it's whatever host the developer/publisher is using. Unlike Live, which hosts all the online games in house, the PSN is merely a portal to the games servers.

I'm a PC gamer and i'm not laughing at all, in fact i think the PC it's the most weak platform in this generation (and in the last gen too, PC gaming it's not what it used to be in the 90's).
I don't care about stupid console wars, (i own both PS3 and 360, as well as wii and PC) am i the only one that it's pissed off due to the fact that bioware LIED to their fans, and now they are releasing all the content on PS3 for free, when i had to pay for it, and exclusive content on top of that?
First, that's WAY too much extra stuff, look at Bioshock's PS3 version, the especial content on that game is nowhere near, and i'm not buying another copy of the same game just for the "exclusive hours of gameplay".
Plus, thanks to this i won't be able to trust bioware anymore and i'm concerned about ME 3's quality (especially the "your choices in ME 1 will affect ME 3" part), and everybody knows that games tend to suffer from multiconsole development.
I lost a lot of my faith in ME 3 the day of the announcement.

..."All," not necessarily. You don't know that yet. "Exclusive," most likely not, and again, you don't know that yet. Please file rumors under "Rumor." Thank you for your time.

I don't think so, this kind of decitions are not made in one day, i'm pretty damn sure they were planning on doing this since the very beginning.
But i guess it's your opinion against mine, no use arguing about it.

I don't like GOTY editions either, but at least that's something that can't be planned ahead and lying about it, and unlike this situation, GOTY ediition's don't have special treatment for one console in particular.
And ME 2 it's not exclusive to begin with, i played it on PC and it's on 360 too, end of the story.

Decisions are made in one day or even one minute as the wind takes them. It's the implementation of those decisions that takes time.

Please understand that Bioware almost certainly had a confidentiality agreement with Microsoft as part of the one year exclusivity. So, don't take it personally - Video games are big business, like it or not.

I dont get why everyone is so pissed. i still have faith in bioware although the ps3 version of dragon age was retty much crap with framerate problems. the pc would be the best platform to play that on but i dont like pc gaming and stick to the consoles. anyway dont lose faith in them you never know what bioware might do for the 360 owners so dont lose faith just yet.Valakas wrote...

But ps3 owners wont even get mass effect 1 so i thinks its fair that they are getting a couple hours of exclusive game content and you have no idea if they planned it or not, Ea could have asked bioware to make it they thought it was good idea and went along with it... we have no idea what really happenedValakas wrote...
