Maybe we get to start the game as Legion as was originally meant. MUHAHAHAHAHA!
Start with legion? the hell are you talking about? Because i'm not buying the same game twice just because Bioware it's putting exclusive stuff on the PS3 version.
And i don't like your "tone".

Look it up. Mass Effect 2 was supposed to follow the death of Shepard with you playing as Legion and helping Liara recover Shepard's body. Also, I have nothing against X-Box or PC gamers (I'm PC & PS3 myself), just having some fun. Most likely, we will get a short introductory video and a questionaire embedded in it.
Like,
"And then Shepard had to make a difficult choice. Kaiden or Ashley. Who would he save?"
Then you answer the question by making a choice and the video continues

I'm sorry but that is BS. I have paid for every downloadable content so far and now they are going to include it into the game. Same thing happened to the Force Unleashed game, they came out with the ultimate sith edition that included all the DLC. I don;t mind about the PS3 I think the whole VS. aspect is ruining it for the fans, I would like to see a lot of PS3 games come to the 360. I know that would never happen but I want to know why the 360 games are going to the PS3?
M-O-N-E-Y. It's all about the cash.
I really don't give a **** about this PS3/360 console war, as they both have **** things about them. My problem with the the PS3 players is because they are denied ME1, they **** all over it, saying its a **** game and ME2 is da best eva. It really pisses me off, as they no **** all about the game.

Monies as others have said.I want to know why the 360 games are going to the PS3?
If you sell five million copies on 360 and 2 million on PC you have sold 7 million copies right? Now add in 3.5 million copies on PS3 and you now have and extra 50% sales*.
Personally I don't care PS3 are getting ME2. Its not like BioWare are going to turn around and not make ME3 for the 360 after this.
* While the 50% figure would be correct I don't know the final sales figures for 360 and PC so don't quote on them.

The reason PS3 games don't come to the 360 is simple.90% of PS3's AAA games are developed by Sony and published by them.In other words Sony makes their own games.Bioware is a third-party developer. If Microsoft really wanted the ME franchise they would have bought Bioware.Microsoft thought that Sony would not be able stage a comeback after their disastrous launch so they didn't buy studios or franchises thinking Xbox's superior sales numbers would make developers make their games Xbox exclusive. Now that Playstation's sales number and the Xbox's are more or less equal why should third-party developers miss out on half the console market. The age of third-party exclusives is over.I'm just saying that it's not Sony's money but Microsoft's failure to acquire studios which led to may games coming to the PS3.Still I think Xbox is a good console but it suffers from a lack of good first-party exclusives. In the long run only first party exclusives remain....well exclusive.jojoshjo wrote...

P.S:Plus Gears of War is the last true third-party exclusive.Sony just got Dynasty Warriors 7 but that game isn't exactly a masterpiece.

Plus ME2 is coming a year late and at full price so I think the extra content is only fair.People who say it's unfair sound like someone who bought a PC in 2008 and then complains that the 2009 version is cheaper and has a better processor and GPU.

I'm just came back from the Gamestop here (in Rome), and talking about ME3 with the girl at the deck she told me "Now ME it's out also for PS3, ME3 will be a new history with a completely different perspective". I didn't believe that, i asked how she knew that, and she said "I visited the EA stand at the Gamestop event". Now, there is a Gamestop event also in USA? It's only for workers? The rumor about the history's change for the PS3 version is true, or at least was assumpted by someone else?
I know it's unlikely, but i wanted to ask, 'cause she looked serious.

Because (And people, get prepared to get your fanboy feathers ruffled) Sony has been more effective business-wise in one respect: they either create their own IPs or, actually BUY the companies whose work they like, whereas M$ simply pays for liscensing agreements.
This gives Sony numerous exclusives (and the potential for more) while, sooner or later the well dries up for the 360 (No more Bungie Halo, no more GoW after 3, etc.)
And the simple fact is that the PS2 era is gone. No one company has an installed base large enough to justify 3rd party exclusives.
That ME2 is coming to PS3 is no shock.

What does a new perspective even mean? It's so deliberately vague that it could mean anything, really.

I think its BS. If she were right then why is Shepard(plus Miranda,Thane) on the cover of the ps3 game box. New perspective would mean diffrent characters, wouldnt it?

come on, this game is not THAT demanding 5 years old PC could run it on almost the highest setup with no problem...
on a side note: Now the words from Mr. Hudson about ME2/3 being standalone make their sense. They must have had ps3 version in mind while developing it...
True Mass Effect is no Crysis but saying a five year old computer is a bit too much.I think it's more along the lines of a three year old computer.Still these days netbooks and lap-tops are way more common then the traditional desk-top computer.Plus the majority of console gamers don't even have a half decent gaming PC.I started gaming on the PC(so it has a special place in my heart) but I completely stopped using PC this gaming generation. All I'm trying to say is that out of the 38 million PS3 gamers i think only 4% have half decent PC's.Most just have multi-purpose general use laptops, netbooks and Regular PCs.Plus yes I have to agree with the ME2 standalone thing. Why the heck do 90% ME1 references have to be dumb emails and why does Kaiden hate me.Still having Garrus in ME2 makes up for all that.
OK, this post brings a thought to my head that I ponder now and again. I'm PC-only. I have always gamed on PC, build my own PC, upgrade my own PC. I never wanted a console because it is monolithic and set in concrete: the GPU is the GPU and tough ****** when it can't cut the crap any longer for new games wherease my PC, I just crack the case and slap in the latest/greatest nVidia card and I'm off to the graphics races (I am not taking a dig at the console players here or trying to get a PC vs console war started). So, what I wonder about is...do you have to shell out money for an entire new console every two years to keep up with the just-past-new graphics hardware or do game companies downgrade their graphics for the sake of consoles? I sometimes consider getting a console (can't decide whether PS3 or X360) just for some of the games that available on them but not for PCs but then I think about the locked-in hardware with no upgrade path and don't get any farther in the thought.

I know, but if what she was saying was right, wouldnt the ps3 version of ME2 have a diffrent story for ME3. I guess im just confused. Still, i dont think she knows what shes talking about.
