Producer Casey Hudson has the details of the PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 revealed new. In January, the titles appear on the console, as during the gamescom was officially confirmed 2010th The uncut version can be even for just 50 € at the Amazon pre-order, but what it actually contain?

The interactive comic "Dark Horse" which informs the player about the back story and offers various choices
The three previously released DLC "Kasumi: Stolen Memories", "Overlord"
and "hiding the Shadow Broker '

Moreover, even accompanied by a code that allows you access to all
published to date content on the network gets Ceberus

A new mission for about six hours of play time.

Of the GC shown Trailer for PS3 version

What can be expected, according to Greg Zeschuk?

The most important thing is that the PlayStation 3 is based on a completely different architecture. Visually it can come to some changes. In particular, the storage and distribution of the graphics chip differ dramatically. We will not again unleash the discussion, which has the two platforms for more power, since we can achieve our objectives on both platforms.

If you develop games that you want to make accessible the broadest possible mass. And exactly this opportunity is offered to us. I think the game will be slightly different feel to the PS3. Just by the controller, it will play differently. (Source: Play3.de)

You have to use a translator it's in German.I'm not taking credit for this since I was not the first to report.I just thought it would be convenient if I directly copied and posted it.

I would like to add that the German Community Representative/Moderator released this info.So it's most probably official.I'm extremely interested in the interactive comic by Dark Horse,PS3 players will be able to make ME1 choices and also bond with the characters:D.Bioware is on the right track, this is how you introduce the second game in a franchise to a new console properly.Rumour is the exclusive content(not the dlc on disc),if there is any, is actually levels with Legion.I wonder if the rumoured exclusive content is the 6 hour mission or if the 6 hour mission will also be available on the 360.Maybe the exclusive content is something that has not been mentioned yet.The link to the German post is at the bottom of my original post.

Maybe if you 360 fanboys stop being fanboys, get a PS3 and play all the great games PS3 has got to offer then you won't have to stress the f**k out on this non issue. I got both consoles and having twice as fun as you sore losers.

Why should I have to buy a PS3 to get content for a game I already own? I am totally ok with ME2 going to PS3, I just want access to all the content they have access to.

I'd get this for the PS3 if only they ported Mass 1 too. But seeing as they're not doing it, there's no point.

LOL.That's pretty awesome, the people that own a ps3 can try this Beast out and love what they were missing for the past year :D

Still, it's a risky move though worth the try.

Yeah I really don't want to have to buy a PS3 just to get exclusive content, that's not the way BioWare should treat its loyal PC and 360 fans. If that is exclusive, I can see many people getting very angry and that may affect if they buy ME3 because they may be worried about exclusive content for the PS3, PC, or 360 versions. I don't want to have to by 3 copies of the same game just to get all of the content, that's not right and it only results in people getting angry. I don't think there should be exclusive content and if it is required to publish on the PS3, as I've heard several rumors on that end, then BioWare should not publish it on the PS3. Also I'm not happy they get so much DLC for free. I want my money back for LotSB and Overlord if the PS3 gets that for free. If they do get that for free, then BioWare should return a portion of the money, if not all, to their PC and 360 players who had to pay for it. So much is being given for the PS3 users, I want to see something for the 360 and PC users who have been loyal thus far.

The PS3 doesn't get ME1. Stop whinning about the extra content they're getting to compensate that. Also, the other versions might be getting a GOTY Edition as well. Besides they waited so long. It's only fair they get 'something' fot paying full price for a year long wait.

Why don't they add the content you could get for free from Cerberus network on the disc as well?

Zaeed, the different armor and other stuff.

They don't miss anythig without ME1 because they have a comic, what do the users without ps3 do? Watch the exclusive content in youtube?

Also as someone said before, i spent a lot of money in dlcs they'll get for free. Nice one BioWare ¬¬

And yet, once again, we get into the overblown sense of Entitlement argument. Bioware owes us nothing. They produce the game, we buy it. We choose whether or not to buy dlc. They then decide to include a lot of said dlc in the PS3 Release.

-To use a parallel example, am I bitter about the DA:O Ultimate Edition? I paid for all the dlc for it. Maybe a little since I'd have saved a chunk of change if I had waited. That's Bioware's right. If you don't like it then stop supporting them.

Why are people reacting like this.I'm a huge Fallout fan and I'm a playstation gamer.Playstation and PC gamers are not going to get the first DLC pack for Fallout:New Vegas(it's a xbox exclusive).Plus this info was only revealed a day before the release of New Vegas. you don't see us blowing up with rage.Plus Bioware never said anything about exclusive content,it was just a rumour.

It's not about DLC, it's about the "6 hour mission" if it's exclusive then that would be a ****ty thing to do. What about the 2 million plus players on 360 and PC?

I believe there was a fair amount of anger regarding the timed exclusivity of the DLC on the fallout forums.  It is also highly questionable the way they decided to announce the timed exclusivity ONE day before the game was launched.  I had already pre-ordered the PC version of Fallout NV via steam so it was too late to cancel my pre-order.  Now had I known they were going to do this "timed exclusivity" rubbish I wouldn't have bought Fallout NV.  One thing is for sure I will not be falling for that trick again.

Now the fact you are a PS3 owner perhaps explains why you "cannot" see the problem.  I can certainly understand why PS3 owners are annoyed they are not going to get ME 1, and yes that is wrong but at least Bioware are making an effort to introduce you to the series and offset the fact you are not getting ME 1.

Now it is true that this "6 hour mission" thing has not been confirmed to be exclusive to the PS3 but then again I don't see Bioware rushing in here to clarify the situation.  If this 6 hour mission is exclusive to the PS3 then that is every bit as wrong as the PS3 not getting Mass Effect 1.

Now I am going to wait to see just what the story is about this 6 hour mission rubbish.  If they intend to release it for PC/360 users then great.  But if they are making it PS3 exclusive then I do not see the point in continuing to play Mass Effect on the PC so I just won't bother since we won't get the full picture.

I'm personally happy to see ME2 on the Playstation 3. Mass Effect 1+2 are my favorite games, and the more people who experience, the game the better in my opinion! I don't care if the Playstation 3 gets the DLC I had to pay for, why? Because the DLC I paid for at the time was worth the money to me, and I would gladly buy them again.

That said, if this 6 hours of gameplay (which is near a quarter of the game time of the singleplayer game by the way) is exclusive I would be very disappointed. Bioware should simply say there is no exclusive content in terms of story and characters to one platform.

Oh, I don't know, maybe the fact that we've proven our loyalty by buying both ME games, as well as the DLC? And possibly the novels/comics as well?

The fact of the matter is, 360/PC players make up a large percentage of the ME fanbase.  And to deny them bonus content but give it to the PS3 is wrong.

What entitles PS3 owners to exclusive content when it persecutes PC and Xbox owners? Everyone who plays the game should have access to the entire Mass effect story. PS3 may not be getting ME1, they will get the benefits of the story through the interactive comic which will likely allow the important variables to be changed.
So if the PS3 does get exclusive content they are effectively getting a more complete game, which punishes those of us on other consoles who are by and large bigger fans of the game (probably) and that's not right by any measure.

I agree with you but it's been confirmed that the first DLC pack for Fallout:New Vegas is xbox exclusive.DLC packs after the first are multiplatform let's hope the first DLC pack is nothing more then dog armour. You never can tell what ZeniMax is going to do,so the first DLC pack might come to PC,PS3 in the future. After all it is still a complete game that we all can enjoy what does a DLC pack or two mean.About our little misunderstanding earlier,I have nothing against the PC,actually I only became a console gamer when the PS2 was launched out of convenience. Please stop with the PS3 gamers are dumb and inferior thing. We are all humans/gamers here doesn't matter which platform we play on.

The 6 hour mission will most likely be available on the 360 and PC.I think that the only difference will be that the PS3 version will get it on disc.Bioware are not out to upset their fans.

I know the 1st Fallout DLC will be xbox exclusive, unfortunately I bought Fallout NV and there is nothing I can do about that now.  However I can ensure I do not bother purchasing anything else from Bethesda (and believe me I won't).  Obviously Bethesda are not interested in my money if they were they would not be purposely with holding game content from me.

I don't know where you get the impression I am calling "PS3 gamers dumb or inferior".  There seems to be a lack of understanding on both sides.  I certainly agree it is unfair for PS3 users to miss out on ME 1, I think that is a ridiculous situation and Bioware should be ashamed of themselves.  Yet it looks like they are engineering another situation where PC/360 users will lose out and oddly enough that seems to be just fine to PS3 users.

Now it is true we do not know whether this 6 hour mission is "exclusive" the way it was talked about in that german post certainly suggests to me that it could be something along the lines of being exclusive.  However till Bioware can actually be bothered to communicate with it's customers then we won't know.

Can you just clear what you meant by that.I might have misunderstood what it meant,if so I'm sorry for having the wrong impression about you.

I feel that the 6 hour content should be multiplatform, unless it is a method to further tell the ME1 story.Bioware has not said anything about exclusivity and neither is exclusivity mentioned in the original post.Time will tell, all we can do is wait for clarification from Bioware.

What incentive does a PS3 owner have to buy a two year old game at full price for Sony's platform, versus buying it for 10 dollars on eBay?  It's about money. I can't stand the fact that you believe they're getting "a more complete game". The game was released on Xbox 360 and PC. It was complete. Additionals modules were released for a price. Now PS3 owners will be paying full price for two year old software with additional modules and an exclusive module so that it seems more attractive than pirating it off TPB or buying it for 10 dollars off eBay.
