Bioware employees spent YEARS of their lives making a AMAZING gaming experience and now a ton of you are freaking out because they're choosing to re-release it on another system other than the one you currently own.
To re-iterate my previous points. We don't know that there will necessarily be PS3 EXCLUSIVE content. More likely it seems that all the DLC up to this point will be on the disk.
The only possible PS3 exclusive content would be some way for choices to be imported from ME1 through a flashback sequence or some other game mechanic as others have suggested. This wouldn't even necessarily have to be PS3 exclusive either.
Furthermore people have been going on and on since DAY 1 of this game how they don't think their ME1 choices matter when clearly they're going to do. I have a ton of faith that Bioware knows what they're doing on this subject.
When Christina Norman tweeted that she wants all three platforms to be a similar as possible a bunch of you "sky is falling" types decided this is bad because ME3 will ignore ME1 choices to keep the games equal for the PS3 players.
Why? Why can't the PS3 version be made to be equal with the PC and 360 versions? Don't you think that would probably be easier for Bioware in the long run?
Finally there is a group that's pissed not because of the DLC or ME3 fears but because the game simply isn't exclusive anymore. To them I say go play your Halo or your GOW and cry into your hello kitty pillow.
Quit acting like Bioware owes you anything. They already gave you nearly a FULL YEAR with one of the best games I've ever played. What? You want them to come to your house and cook you dinner too?

First off, ME1 will still never be on the PS3, and that's a HUGE problem. We're not talking about a game like GTAIV that doesn't rely heavily on any story or events from previous GTA games----this is Mass Effect 2, a direct sequel and continuation of Mass Effect 1.
And since it's ME2, and only ME2, PS3 users are going to be missing out on what is currently HALF of the story. With no ability to import saves, and no way to replay the events of the first game on the PS3, users will be stuck with the default (Renegade ending, no extra characters, no Wrex, no romances, etc. etc.) storyline.....UNLESS Bioware throws PS3 users a bone by including some sort of bonus feature that lets them recap the story and events of ME1....and if that's the case, that is clearly a big "**** you, fans! We don't care!" in the face of PC & Xbox users---the ones that helped make this series ever so popular, and the ones to whom Bioware/EA owe everything....because without the success of ME1 & ME2 on the PC & Xbox, there would be no PS3 version.
I can understand EA/Bioware wanting to expand the ME universe and cover more platforms to generate more revenue, but porting ME2 seems like the wrong place to start.

If there is one thing that I hate more than fan boi's it's platform exclusives.
Kudos to BioWare, hopefully other developers will follow the same pattern and release their games on multi-platforms.

I hope ME2 and ME3 will now have console exclusive offers. EA's Dead Space, 360 Armor comapred to PS3 armor. A little something extra for w.e. console you are playing on. Not to leave out the cpu.

http://www.bioware.c..._effect_pc.html
Probably because that means EA and Microsoft both have a license for Mass Effect and likely can't do anything without permission of the other because of this license that BioWare gave to Microsoft when they were publishing Mass Effect. As far as I know from the law classes I have taken, neither of these licensing agreements should be able to have more "power" so to speak over another one and Microsoft is never going to give EA this kind of permission to remaster the game for the PS3 otherwise.

Will do. Seeing as they produced some of the best games I've gotten to play throughout my whole life. You've yet to refute any of my points or even explain how I'm being a fanboy. Did I say anything about the 360 being inferior to the PS3? No. I didn't.
I'm trying to rationally explain why this isn't the end of the world to a bunch of people who seem to think Bioware is somehow intentionally forcing themselves on their grandmothers.
