I am all for ME2 going to the PS3. I don't own one, but I have friends that do and anyway to get this game more attention before ME3 and the movie the better.

Why? Why can't the PS3 version be made to be equal with the PC and 360 versions? Don't you think that would probably be easier for Bioware in the long run?

Finally there is a group that's pissed not because of the DLC or ME3 fears but because the game simply isn't exclusive anymore. To them I say go play your Halo or your GOW and cry into your hello kitty pillow.

Quit acting like Bioware owes you anything. They already gave you nearly a FULL YEAR with one of the best games I've ever played. What? You want them to come to your house and cook you dinner too?

Will do.  Seeing as they produced some of the best games I've gotten to play throughout my whole life.  You've yet to refute any of my points or even explain how I'm being a fanboy.  Did I say anything about the 360 being inferior to the PS3?  No.  I didn't.

I'm trying to rationally explain why this isn't the end of the world to a bunch of people who seem to think Bioware is somehow intentionally forcing themselves on their grandmothers.

I am not rewriting my response, you want to find it, go look back. I have explained why7 this choice sucks. Not to mentione this does not bold well for us Liara, Ash and Kai fans, nor the fans of ME2 squad. This is a bad decision.

The whole concept is pretty stupid. ME3 isn't going to suck because of the PS3. XD

ME3 is going to suck because ME2 sucked and BioWare clearly thinks they did well in making that game.

Ahhh yeah....  You're probably one of the ones who were on here day 1 screaming about the ammo system in ME2 or how the biotics were broken or how you were angry the ME1 squaddies only had cameos ignoring the fact that this keeps them alive for the third game. etc... etc.. etc...

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the game.  Maybe you'll find Halo your cup of tea?  Gears of War?  M&M Kart Racing?

Just posted the below two paragraphs somewhere else, but best fitted where its going on. Im sure all of you agree and this is whats bugging us the most. All those ME character support thread, all those important ME decisions being tossed aside.



We were led to believe on numerous occasions decisions of Mass Effect would carry on throughout the series. Now with a new audience appearing mid-adventure how can Bioware deliver the importance of these decisions to people who have never played it. Even with an extended decision making prologue the impact of saving or killing the Rachni Queen cannot be recreated without playing the first game. Same with your decision with saving Kaiden or Ash.



Therefore the new PS3 audience arnt going to care to much, if at all about it because it doesnt impact them. As a result any important decision in ME going into ME3 will be watered down or have little impact. In fact any event in ME will get that treatment. You cant have thousands of PS3 players being confused over a storyline they havent played! So Kaiden and Ash being you best bud and squadmate in ME3, looking increasingly doubtful. Having the weight of the Rachni Decision (will they fight with you? Was saving her a mistake and they become a threat? ect) will become less important as thousands of people wont care. As I said, to me this was an underlining and integral plot device which will now have to be down played as not to confuse all these new gamers.

Does anyone actually believe the ME series will end after 3? This EA we are talking about, be prepared for multiplayer deathmatches and less RPG elements. EA now has a whole new platform for ME so the true milking can now begin.

I don't care if the game goes multiconsole, the thing that pisses me off, is that PS3 owners get all the dlc for FREE when i had to PAY for it.

It's simply outrageous, i want my bioware points back.

Also, i want word from bioware that this won't affect ME 3's quality, more especifically, that the decisions made in ME1 won't be downplayed.

I want to feel that playing that game actually mattered, Ahsley/Kaidan, Wrex, Galactic Counsil, Ragni Queen, feros colony etc. I want to see those choices to take an important role on ME3.

Seeing as Mys is one of the biggest RPG fans on this site, I suggest you play Halo 3.
