I was just mocking your wording. I don't see how you feel pompous enough to make such assumptions about me. I hate Halo and Gears of War. They suck.

But, seriously, it doesn't matter that I didn't enjoy ME2. What matters is that you did. And I'd be selfish if I asked for anything more than what made you happy. I, and by extension everyone else, should never say another bad thing about the game because you liked it.

Seeing as Mys is one of the biggest RPG fans on this site, I suggest you play Halo 3.

Don't doubt it.  I lurk here mostly.  I'm not going to brag up my RPG cred either but I'm a pretty big fan of the genre myself.  Maybe we should have had a turned based ME2 with Shepard sporting spiky blonde hair, anime-esque eyes and a hilariously oversized gun.

That would have been a classic.

I really don't care about the exclusivity (though I will be a little irked if all the DLC comes with it for free) but the fact that this means more work for Bioware- seeing as the effects of ME1 are not significant in ME2 this just confirms my belief that ME3 will either be a masterpiece or a complete failure- if there is no way to use decisions from ME1 in the PS3 version then are they really going to take the time to make it matter in the others?

I hope so.

Because unlike you I have friends on this site that I talk to regualry. I enjoyed ME2, does that mean I have to be blind and say everything Biowaste does it good? I am a customer and I have the right to voice my opinion on things that are bad.

And the Inventory System, don't forget about that!

Actually, I was willing to forgive the ammo, the lack of an inventory, the ME1 squaddy cameos, and everything else if ME2 had a good story. Those features are pretty bad, in all honesty, but I didn't complain until I actually experienced them and found them to suck.

ME2 is possibly the worst-written game I've ever played. Most RPG fans like story.

If you are going to release the game on another console, at least be ****ing HONEST about it.



You may critize Square enix all you want, but at least that company was HONEST, announcing FF XIII on 360 from the beginning.

Hey I'm sorry.  I got a little carried away.  I've just read pages upon pages of screaming entitled fanboys arguing without logic that somehow a PS3 ME2 is going to ruin the franchise.

I can at least respect your opinion that ME3 will suck because ME2 sucked.  Better than some convulted idea that somehow because PS3 players won't get to play ME1 all ME1 choices will be ignored completely.

I personally enjoyed ME2.  Just not as much as I'd hoped in part, but not exclusively due to some of the things you mentioned above.  I mean it's not like Bioware is perfect.  I can be pissed about some things without totally hating the game. There were a lot of improvements no one can dispute, like the amazing combat upgrades.

BUT.

What disturbs me is the trend I'm seeing, the transformation from rpg-shooter to shooter-rpg, the plot holes, the sub-par character development in the second game, the relegation of characters we enjoyed and decisions we made to mere mentions that bore no weight on the outcome of ME2.

I dig Bioware (obviously), and I'd love for them to prove every doubt or fear that I have about all these things wrong. I really would.  And maybe they will.  But I'm not just gonna say "Bioware is so awesome so it will be so awesome and everything will of course always be awesome because it's Bioware."  That's just dumb.

Because unlike you I have friends on this site that I talk to regualry. I enjoyed ME2, does that mean I have to be blind and say everything Biowaste does it good? I am a customer and I have the right to voice my opinion on things that are bad.

Then why don't you just get their e-mail addresses, Cell Phone numbers, Facebook pages, etc? There are other places to congregate other than a message board for a developer that you've lost all respect and faith for.
