Honestly? I don't see the point in this. I don't think many PS3 exclusive guys are going to be going nuts over ME2 if they weren't before...

If you are going to release the game on another console, at least be ****ing HONEST about it.

You may critize Square enix all you want, but at least that company was HONEST, announcing FF XIII on 360 from the beginning.

Did you forget the ME PC lockdowns? They were locking threads as rumors even when the official press release confirming it was on the internet.

Because unlike you I have friends on this site that I talk to regualry. I enjoyed ME2, does that mean I have to be blind and say everything Biowaste does it good? I am a customer and I have the right to voice my opinion on things that are bad.

Then why don't you just get their e-mail addresses, Cell Phone numbers, Facebook pages, etc? There are other places to congregate other than a message board for a developer that you've lost all respect and faith for.

From the press release:

The PlayStation 3 edition will include the full Mass Effect 2 game and hours of bonus content, making this the perfect introduction to BioWare's award-winning action RPG franchise.

Now, I will completely cop to maybe reaing too much into it, but I'm not sure how it can be a "perfect introduction" without some sort of method of getting the ME1 story and its narrative choices at least in some sort of condensed form in game.

Perhaps this will be addressed by some of the bonus content.

I'm a 360 owner myself and I can honestly care less about ME2 being ported to the PS3. But what I do care about is news regarding ME3.

Mass Effect 1 is, Mass Effect 2 isn't.

microsoft was the publisher for me1.....on the 360

for the pc version it was already published by EA

so it's highly possible for ps3 to have me1 too

In other news, Bioware announced today that both Ashley and Kaiden will no longer be part of the Mass Effect canon. Chris Priestly was quoted in Gamasutra stating that, "We have no knowledge of these two characters you speak of and never plan to include them in Mass Effect 3," when asked about the role of those two now non-existent characters in Mass Effect 3.

In related news, the Mass Effect Wiki page concerning the oft-mentioned Wrex has disappeared, replaced by a page that calls him "Krogan Evil Overlord" and describes Shepard's efforts and eventual success in killing him in ME1 in a secret mission only accessible to developers.

Well congrats on ****ing off many Xbox 360 fans! Saying it was for Xbox 360 and PC! Bloody money grabbing ****s! After ME3 im never going to buy a Bioware game again!

Look what happened to Dragonage that was brilliant, i couldnt ask for more... the second dragonage.. yeah thats all i am going to say!

ME3 better not be on PS3.

I see, so BIoware dishonesty it's nothing new, and to think this was one of the few companys i trusted.

I believe you would find few valid reasons to whine in this very thread. Then again its some 40 pages, I dont blame you for not reading through it.

I doubt there is going to be any ME3 news until ME2PS3 is out.

Why do people care about the xbox360 exclusive? you don't own any part of the franchise.

Then they announced the PC version.



ME2 was supposed to be exclusive to the 360 and PC.



Now they announce the PS3 version.



It was only a matter of time. I don't see why people are surprised by history's cyclical nature.

Eh, I look at it this way. Xbox got Final Fantasy XIII. How long has that been on Playstation consoles? PS3 gets ME2. As long as the game gives PS users the same enjoyment that Xbox and PC users get, everyone's happy.
