You can play as Joker on 360/PC, don't you remember the level where Shepard and the Team leaves and the Collectors board the Normandy, then It's up to Joker to save the day!

In other news, Bioware announced today that both Ashley and Kaiden will no longer be part of the Mass Effect canon. Chris Priestly was quoted in Gamasutra stating that, "We have no knowledge of these two characters you speak of and never plan to include them in Mass Effect 3," when asked about the role of those two now non-existent characters in Mass Effect 3.
In related news, the Mass Effect Wiki page concerning the oft-mentioned Wrex has disappeared, replaced by a page that calls him "Krogan Evil Overlord" and describes Shepard's efforts and eventual success in killing him in ME1 in a secret mission only accessible to developers.
wait let me get this right.... is that for 360 as well.. cos that is so fricking annoying for those who kept loyal to them in ME... i am worried about ME3 being quite **** nowno longer looking forward to it
No, sorry it wasn't obvious that was a joke.
They could change that, any day.obie191970 wrote...

Seriously, people need to step away from the ledge. Bioware has already said that there are over 1,000 permutations of your decisions through ME1 and ME2 that will have an effect on ME3. Newsflash - Mass Effect is not an exclusive game to the 360 as the many PC players around here can attest.
BS! I checked the choices that are flag, it's no where near 1000.

Mark my words, by next year, they'll have an ME3 Logo under their screen name, confirming that they bought it.
Not if we get a whole new squad, no purchase for me then
Sure...keep telling yourself that.
If you hate Bioware so much now, and are so sure that ME3 will suck, then why not delete your account?
Surely you have better things to do than stay here nitpicking about a developer whom you've lost all faith in.
Because unlike you I have friends on this site that I talk to regualry. I enjoyed ME2, does that mean I have to be blind and say everything Biowaste does it good? I am a customer and I have the right to voice my opinion on things that are bad.
Then why don't you just get their e-mail addresses, Cell Phone numbers, Facebook pages, etc? There are other places to congregate other than a message board for a developer that you've lost all respect and faith for.

What you just wrote was complete fail, this exchange is over.
Of course it is... Anytime someone presents you with a logical argument you have no acceptable answer for, you refuse to answer altogether, or pull the Fanboy Card.
The truth is, you don't want to leave, you don't hate Bioware, you haven't lost faith in them, and you're just *****ing because you're butthurt over the game going multiplatform. Yet you're still going to buy ME3, and you'll continue posting here because logically you know that it's no big deal that the game is going multiplatform, and that it won't have any negative effect whatsoever save for the fact that you can no longer use it in an argument that Xbox 360 is better than PS3.
If I'm wrong, then by all means please give a satisfactory answer to why it is that you can't simply collect alternate methods of communication with your friends on the site?
Even a "they don't like me enough to share there e-mail with me" would be a satisfactory answer at this point.
Otherwise, quit fronting. If you truly lost all respect for Bioware, you'd be gone.

microsoft was the publisher for me1.....on the 360
for the pc version it was already published by EA
so it's highly possible for ps3 to have me1 too

A) EA doesn't do "exclusive." They want profit wherever they can get it. That means 360, PS3, PC is far more likely than not.and no matter how hard microsoft tries to keep ME1 on xbox/pc EA can just rename it and release it on ps3 so ps3 owners get the full expirience and more

This is just absurd. People are genuinely upset about this? I'm absolutely at a loss in trying to understand why.
Firstly, the game had never been exclusive to any one platform.
Secondly, it being ported in no way takes anything from your experience with the game. It was never a game that had been shared with only one particular community (as mentioned in the first point) and can't be described as such. It was neither simply just a 360 game nor was it just a PC game - it was both.
Thirdly (and this will supersede my second point), it doesn't matter if it had been associated with any particular platform. Many people here are claiming that their console of choice loses its sense of identity by a move like this and that they were actually PROUD to have chosen that particular console. I don't even know where to begin on how ridiculous it is to be proud of something like that.
To expand on my third point, I'd like to talk about what it means to be proud of something. Creating a game that you had poured countless hours into creating so that many like-minded individuals can enjoy is something to be proud of ( I see no harm in them wanting to share their pride with more people). Raising your child, sharing your values, giving them the tools and space to make their own and see the results is something to be proud of. Writing a paper that you'd spent weeks on - pulling all nighters, countless interviews, readings, etc and receiving a well earned grade is something to be proud of.
Looking up on the internet to see what games you prefer, going to Wal Mart and buying a console is rarely something to be proud of - the exception being if you had no money and worked tooth and nail in order to buy it (and even then it's not so much that the pride is attributed to the console itself - it's moreso a symbol). Pride is not generally something we should attribute to console ownership... such thinking is ridiculous and, frankly, immature.
Let the damn people enjoy the game.

Bioware has decided what to do with their franchise.
I agree completely. It would be so unfair if they get additional content that the PC and X360 don't get. Especially if it's free. But that's the only issue I can see with this. I don't think they'll let ME3 suffer. I hope not...Jonathan Shepard wrote...
I see the marketing benefits, and how this may just make ME3's funding enough to be amazing beyond belief... but for some reason, even though I play PC, more than Xbox (though I do have ME1 for both; ME2 for PC)... I still don't like it. It has something to do with the "hours of bonus content." If it's DLC, then I've been cheated, especially after buying the Collector's Edition. If it's a set of "prequel" chapters, so that PS3 users don't have to have default-shepard-only saves, then I understand. If it's just extra bonus content available only to them, set during ME2, I'm going to feel even more cheated than before.

Your wrong, but I am done wasting my breath on you. I won't be buying ME3 if the squad is new and our choices don't matter. If ME is not ported over to PS3 and nothing is added to the pS3 so they can make choices in ME2, ME3 is going to suck hard, everyone will get a cameo, emails and what ever.
Also one can lose faith and Bioware and still stay on this site. I talk with friends, you know what friends are I hope? That's the only reason I stay on here and pay attention to DAO news.
