Well I'm happy that PS3 owners get Mass Effect 2 but I still think it best to buy the game on the 360 or PC to get the whole Mass Effect experience. Without the first game Mass Effect 2 kind of stinks especially with those default choices.

What the hell?¿ Some of the best games ever have been in multiplatforms,in fact there have been amazing games when there were even no consoles around...

If a game  is bad or good it definetely not related to the platform, but to the makers of the game, killzone 2 was great but so was Modern Warfare 1 and it was multiplatform

I mean companies fighting over users and franchises is understandable but people fighting over which console should get which game...lamo!

yes some multiatform games are awesome but havent you seen whats going on lately?
E3 sony dominated
some multiplatform games are gettin exclusive content on the ps3
and microsoft lost alot of excusivs to sony while sony has still have theres (the powerhouses atleast)

but you know what let me stop im just giving myself a headache and im sure nobody wants to hear any of this.

And its exclusive content really wasn't something to die for, it was just there.

Yes I guess that's my main reason. But then there's the other reason that they are turning an amazing series into a cash cow. What happens after that? The series starts to suck. Then the cow gets butchered.

I bought it because of friends

As long as you're not one of the crybaby, butthurt,  Xbots, then you needn't explain your reason for purchasing an Xbox 360.

I also own an Xbox 360, as well as a PS3 and a Wii.
I bought both the Xbox 360 & PC Versions of this game, bought all the DLC, and I'm going to preorder the PS3 Version as soon as the CE is announced.

You are the type of person that just doesn't pay attention to anything. Instead of listening to those of us with valid concerns, you toss out fanboyisms such as "xbots". I have to think people like you are 16 year olds who have nothing better to do than come up with lame stuff like that. I mean if you are grown men and women, and you do this stuff.... That is just very sad. If you are grown men and women and you keep this fanboyish nonsense going, you have other things to worry about.

PS3 better graphics than the PC? Please, don't make me laugh, those damn things do not cost twice as much as a console for nothing.

Also, PS3 has proven slightly inferior to the 360 regarding graphics in most of the cases (i own both, i speak out of experience) even though the PS3 has the superior hardware, ME 2 will still look worst (at least worst than PC).

So... no personal offense intended to any of you Bioware employees, but this sounds like a waste of money and development time. Most anyone who cares about this game has already played it on PC and Xbox 360, and there's no way that this does nothing but pull money and resources away from the development of Mass Effect 3, as well as DLC for Mass Effect 2.



Most disappointing announcement I've ever heard for this franchise.
