sheesh, i've just gone through 48 pages of rubbish, i thank few of you who actually made objective points.
First off im mainly a PC gamer, so if you Xbox and PS3 kids think you have a right to complain about "platform this; free that" you can run to the cupboard under the stairs right now because we're the ones who usually get the bad end of the stick. Fable 3 but not 1 or 2? thats just one of MANY examples; the constant delays? im surprised and thankful that ME2 was released at the same time as the 360 version. Theres a stereotype that ALL PC gamers are pirates, though im not convinced thats the sole reason we get cut out so much (aside from having to develop for millions of hardware configurations) because everyone knows that console games get pirated loads too. Now with that out of the way i want to share my opinions on this matter:
1 - congrats to the PS3 owners, you have yourself a great game.. though im not sure how Bioware will handle the whole Mass effect 1 part for you.
2 - im a huge fan of Bioware games, infact im pursuing a career in becoming a games designer with one of my long term goals being to get a job at Bioware

so i am very protective of my beloved Mass Effect, so i share your concerns about ME3's integrity being compromised but honestly the way you people have been going on is like they've canceled the game! stop making presumptions and wait for an official response, who knows maybe, just maybe if your polite enough you might get one.
3) as a PC gamer naturally im into modding and editing etc, and would like to know, due to the extra space on blu-ray disk, if the PS3 version will get enhanced textures? I ask as i've extensively been tweaking away on both games since ME1 on PC trying to alleviate some of the texture issues.
I've noticed another stereotype is that you need to spend Thousands on an "Uber" computer to run games these days.. i build computers as a hobby and can tell you now thats utter tosh! also i like to play around in Unreal engine 3 and love its versatility, its not VERY demanding on hardware either.
Anyway, if the game will be enhanced to take advantage of the PS3's blu-ray feature is there a possibility to release the texture pack for PC users too? From a hardware standpoint i can understand why the 360 version has them toned down, however it wouldn't affect performance much at all on a modern day computer.
I look forwards to mass effect 3, but please Bioware, add more content! i thoroughly Enjoyed ME2 but couldn't help but notice i spent over 80% (inverse to ME1 where it was just an hour at most) of the game recruiting my squad along with loyalty missions... and thats why im super happy that you released Overlord and am Really looking forward to Layer of the Shadow Broker!
