sheesh, i've just gone through 48 pages of rubbish, i thank few of you who actually made objective points.
First off im mainly a PC gamer, so if you Xbox and PS3 kids think you have a right to complain about "platform this; free that" you can run to the cupboard under the stairs right now because we're the ones who usually get the bad end of the stick. Fable 3 but not 1 or 2? thats just one of MANY examples; the constant delays? im surprised and thankful that ME2 was released at the same time as the 360 version. Theres a stereotype that ALL PC gamers are pirates, though im not convinced thats the sole reason we get cut out so much (aside from having to develop for millions of hardware configurations) because everyone knows that console games get pirated loads too. Now with that out of the way i want to share my opinions on this matter:

The more i think about it, if mass effect 2 comes out for ps3, it'll bring in more cash, which will help bring in more money for mass effect 3, so it really isn't that bad.
If there is no exclusive conent 360/PC owners will get over it.
The best Mass Effect experence will always be 360/PC because of Mass Effect 1.
Its going to be interesting how they cover the back story becuase ME2 pulls alot themes that were explaned in ME1.

The only Fable not available for PC is Fable 2. Also you say not all PC gamers are Pirates and your not one of them, but you don't have your games registered. Why is that?![]()

I couldn't care less that it's coming to the PS3, but it pisses me off that when ever the PS3 gets games later they always seem to get either all the DLC with it or get new stuff the other versions never got for the same price it was for the other consoles. Examples of this is Bioshock, Overlord, and now Mass Effect 2. So if EA/Bioware do it that way I'll be pissed.
What's so different from that and a classics edition of a game? The classics edition of Mass Effect 1 included the first DLC (as the second one was not out yet). Do you complain that classics or GOTY editions usually have some/all of the DLC plus maybe some other stuff?
Just consider the PS3 version to be a classics edition, out 1 year after the original release date. Heck, the classics edition of the Xbox360 and PC versions (with all/some of the DLC) might even be out by the time it comes out for the PS3.
Edit: Okay, I just saw that the classics version of Mass Effect 2 is already out, and apparently, without any extras. But that's not usually the case. I think many times games come with their DLCs when they are released as a GOTY or classics edition.

2 - im a huge fan of Bioware games, infact im pursuing a career in becoming a games designer with one of my long term goals being to get a job at Biowareso i am very protective of my beloved Mass Effect, so i share your concerns about ME3's integrity being compromised but honestly the way you people have been going on is like they've canceled the game! stop making presumptions and wait for an official response, who knows maybe, just maybe if your polite enough you might get one.

Mass Effect 2 Comes to the PS3
2010.08.17 | Posted by Nickmo
Mass Effect 2 has officially arrived on the PS3!
Coming in January of 2011 in beautiful Blu-ray, Mass Effect 2 PS3
will feature hours of bonus content making it the perfect entry point to
the franchise.
Check out the announcement trailer and press release for more info, and make sure to stay tuned for more information in the near future!
F*ck that! You can't play ME2 without playing ME1!! ME2 is an awesome game, but it's a goddam sequel A SEQUEL, for Christ's sake!
Jesus, you can't release ME2 for PS3 without, without releasing ME1 so these players can import games. Without importing save games, they will be stuck with all of the ****TY renegade default choices.
F*cking stupid

No where in the announcment was it mentioned that the content was exclusive.
And why would it be? EA is out to sell product and make money... so the same "bonus content" will also be available for the 360.
If PS3 gets "exclusive" content it will be something like a recap video for the ME1 plot, or maybe a new helmet or gun.
The PS3 WILL get exclusive content. I remember an interview with John Carmack stating that Sony REQUIRES multiplatform games that are released later on the PS3 to either have a graphical enhancement or content only available to the PS3 or both.Throw_this_away wrote...

I never said it was going to be exclusive I was saying "If" it were exclusive. So yeah I'm probably getting angry a little early, but just want to make sure it isn't exclusive and that us PC and 360 owners don't get back handed to the new PS3 owners coming into our ME universe.
