I'm more pissed at Microsoft for their impotence in this situation. Firstly letting E.A. pick up Bioware without putting up a fight and then idly standing by as one of their biggest draws, Mass Effect, goes multi-platform, definitely stealing some of their thunder.
Do they really think Halo and Gears are going to carry them without an exclusive RPG contract with somebody... anybody?
WTF is Microsoft thinking? They had better have one hell of a comeback for this or go the way of the Dreamcast (which I loved too).
You do realize that shooter fans make up the majority of the 360's customer base, right? As for exclusive RPGs, Microsoft still has Fable, it's not going anywhere. And I'm not sure I'd call this a done deal just yet. I think there's still a possibility, albeit a slim one, that Microsoft comes in at somepoint between now and January with enough money to make it worth EA's while to keep ME off the PS3.
The sky is not falling. People said the PS3 was done when FFXIII went multi-plat. It's still around. Now ME2 goes multi-plat and people say the 360 is done. It's not going anywhere.
