Mass Effect series was the best "console" exclusive for 360 imo, Gears single player is good, Halo is meh to me as is Fable, they needed to full develop the first party strategy and it has surprised me that they havent. I cant stand playstation fanboys and it seems so far they have avoided this place but one thing I agree with the parasites is the first party support for Sonys machine is better.

Well, PC version  actually give them 0 profit, Mac version too. 
I have Mass Effect for PC, as for Mass Effect 2 I will wait. If it has exclusive Ps3 content, then it's the version to get. Despite cheap steam offers.

All the DLC + new gameplay confirmed?
You would expect the announcements of ME2 Complete Edition to wait until after they are finished sucking money out of PC/360 gamers. Then again its not like we are not going to buy their future games or the overpriced DLC packs. Some may even buy it twice or thrice.

Sony made a smart decision by buying up all their first party developers.  Look at this list - It's fairly impressive -

Having both a PS3 and a 360, my PS3 is stocked with exclusive games while I have 3 360 exclusives(Gears, Halo and Fable - And Fable is terrible.).  Seriously, unless you are a huge FPS fan, there is really no reason to own a 360 anymore.

Finaly mass effect is coming to the ps3, ive been waiting for this for years, finally i get to play this freakin awesome game on my console of choice. Although it kinda sucks that i wont be able to play mass effect 1, but apparently theres gunna be something that will solve that problem( come on did u really think theyd release ME2 and pretend that ME1 never existed) hopefully with this announcement it means ME3 will be on ps3 too and hopefully launched at the same time as on all consoles. multiplats are the future!

I disagree to a certain degree, Killzone, this resistance series, call of duty, medal of honour, mag. all first person shooters!

Well, you can play exclusive games like Crysis and multiplatform games in superior quality and cheaper on your PC. Since ou do have PS3, you may sell the PC version of ME2 and get the complete edition with all the DLC and bonus content.
Graphics may not be on par with the PC version, but there wont be huge difference - AA, resolution and framerate are better on PC, but models and textures are going to be the same in all versions (maybe some fix here and there on the PS3).

If they bundle all the post-release premium DLC in a package for the PS3 that includes Cerberus network for $49.99 - 59.99, that would make it fair.

As really Aegis Pack, Equalizer Pack, Firepower Pack, Kasumi and Overlord amount to 1600 BW/MS points, or $20, plus we don't know how much LotSB will cost, ether 400, 560 or more, so really getting approx $25-$30 of extra content for free that the rest of us had to pay for wouldn't be fair at all.  So really, adding the base price of $39.99 and the bonus content, I can see a PS3 version going on sale for $50 to $60.
But, BioWare is in the reigns of greedy EA now, so really they may give all this stuff to PS3 users for free.

PS3 wont get the whole expirience what about the Rachni, Wrex,Ashley/Kaiden all of which i think will have an effect on ME3, will the PS3 have to do without or simply just get to choose?

Ray has already said that there will be an intro specific to the PS3 version - I am sure that will include some way to make some decisions.

And on your comment below above - Sony owns all their studios/IP for exclusive games.

Exactly, it wouldn't be in Microsoft's interest at all to release ME1 to another console platform when they can entice gamers to purchase a game they can't play without their hardware.

The only problem is that PS3 gamers are going to miss out on alot, specifically the moment when you first meet Sovereign/Nazara.  Then there' s the moment you meet Vigil on Ilos.   Those moments are revelations that set the framework and the stage for ME2.

Without ME1's stronger story, ME2 will play very differently.   So it's not just about Bioware creating some flash-foward method  of helping PS3 gamers to slip right into the action of ME2,  it's more about how weak ME2 is without the original story to drive the continuing saga.
