I for one played Mass Effect on PC, but only because I couldn't buy it for PS3 and consider 360 a ****ty hardware (I'm very sensitive to such things, I love reliable electronics).
So I've played Mass Effect 1 and I'm glad I'm no longer forced to buy Mass Effect 2 for PC, because now i have the option to buy it for my favorite platform - PS3.

Why being so bad dude? I have both ME and ME2 for my 360 and I'll still be getting the ME2 for PS3 as well so why you want a crappy version for the PS3 community, it's not their fault, actually this whole fanboy war is completely dumb if I may say so, you're not getting paid ONE single cent from MS to be such fanboy, neither the ones from Sony so why all this.

All I can tell is that, this game is so great I will sure to be buying it for the PS3 too, and when the third one come out I will be buying it for both systems again. So I don't want other people to have a crappy game just because they can't have the first one, just a none true gamer would want such silly exclusivity.
While ago I would have loved to see MGS4 on 360 JUST so my friends could have played it as well since it is an Awesome game.

Has ME3 been confirmed for PS3 yet?



I would be laughing my a s s off if Micrsoft pulled a Heavy Rain on Sony and bought console exclusivity for ME3. This has been done with the PC versions of Heavy Rain and Alan Wake before, to mention just the most recent examples.

I just can't see it selling that well without the first one on there, it seems to me that this could back fire in terms of money and resources spent but who knows, i just hope that ME1 still 'matters' in terms of desision imports, if it gets discarded in a sense just for the PS3 then i won't be happy and i doubt many other PC and 360 owners will be.

I suspect you'll be questioned about the major choices, after being given a little background (Rachni, Council, etc) then, if the set of answers given are more Paragon or Renegade the game defaults the lesser decisions accordingly.

He's actually right. It's all EA, They're known for doing this, and now my expectations for the third game have been shot. Why? Because now, like it or not, the Mass 1 choices won't be in the third game. Because EA wantas to make another quick buck off of the game, we have to suffer for it story wise. Thinking otherwise is retarded. EA finds a cash cow, and milks it dry. Its all about the money for these people. Like he said above, Mass Effect kart, online, underground, shift, etc... It will soon evolve into their yearly titles where mass effect will be released every year. Sacrificing story for money. EA has done it before, and it's doing it again. Bioware has no say. EA owns them. No matter what the doctors said, EA is calling the shots now. It's really ashame. But oh well.

Well I somehow knew it was going to come to the PS3 because I bet many who didn't own a xbox 360 really wanted to playthis game when it cameot but now they can come january 2011. Just wanted to say good job to the people at Bio ware for making that happen so others can experience the Mass Effect story

VERY TRUE!!!! when ME2 came out ps3 fanboys were saying how stupid it is and trashing it all over the place, and saying they dont want it becasuse they have better games, and now that they have it they are orgasming all over.
 
why the **** would bioware wana give them anything is beyond me. oh yea cuz EA is trash and they make games for everything, remeber ME for the iphone? yea

and i agree, micro$$$$oft has a **** load of money and they should of bought bioware when they had the chance, now bioware get molested by EA on a daily basis.

taking exclusives away is a bad thing, seeing as how bioware has worked with microsoft before i cant beleive they did this, i guess EA controls the **** out of them and they have no say in anything.

sorry, but i dont buy EA games, ME2 was an exception but now im gona sell it , and i couldnt care less about ME3..its a shame, ME1 is one of my all time favorite games, its something different, but ME2 had EA's stink all over it, bad dlc strategy, gears of war gameplay, and no sex scenes, sigh.....

Well, I know I'm glad that Bioware is expanding their audience and will hopefully reign in some profits from this decision. Because y'know, I'm not one for making wild assumptions when facts haven't been secured, and those degrading whole audiences for owning a different console need to grow the hell up. They're a company, they make money, and I'm sure they're well aware of the backlash that will occur if ME3 fails to stand up to the other two.

How will it carry over now that the PS3 users don't have the first game? Its not speculation, its fact. Unless they're developing two separate games, it won't happen. So basically they're just throwing out Mass 1. I have nothing against it going to the ps3, except the fact that they're not porting the first game. Which to me is a typical EA move, because they don't care about story but money. I'm sure Bioware would have kept it a 360 exclusive if they couldn't port the entire trilogy, but they're not calling the shots. EA is.
