On the DA forums there are Mac players.  The fanboy part comes in when the response to a Mac user's question comes back as "Don't play on a Mac."  Then the platform wars start again.

Bioware: If you're including additional content of any kind for the PS3 release, I'm out. You can forget about me buying ME3 then. I know I'm not alone either. You'll lose a huge part of the fanbase.

This ruined my entire day yesterday and I had trouble sleeping last night. I'm so depressed right now.

This is the point I find most laughable.  ME1 was exclusive to the 360 for all of 6 months people.  The reaction around here is approaching what Bungie received when they announced they were going multi-platform. 

ooooh noooooo not our precious exclusives! They're the only thing keeping our console from being a steaming pile of junk! LOLZ Seriously, Mass Effect was the ONLY reason i was even considering buying an XBOX 360. Now i don't have to, i'm stoked! I do hope they bring out ME1 and not just a little intro flashback. What kind of an emersive romance can i have with Liara in a flashback?

In my time gaming I've encountered fanboys of every platform and found them all to be the same.  Xbox fanboys are just as obnoxious as Sony fanboys, who are just as obnoxious as PC fanboys, who are just as obnoxious as Mac fanboys. For every rabid fanboy you will find another person who feels that platform wars are stupid and who respects the fact that individuals have different gaming preferences.

PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac - there is no difference between individuals on each of these platforms.  In every facet of life you will find kind souls and rude people.  Gaming community forums may have age limitations but they do not have amusement park rules which state “you must be this mature to post.” Please note that maturity and age do not go hand-in-hand. Young people can be wise beyond their years; older people may never have grown up.

I hope that ME1 will be present in some form. Not only to maintain continuity, but also to all the Xbots who're now reassuring themselves that at least ME1 will remain exclusive, will hit the roof.



Bioware should port it to MAC & Wii while they're at it.

If they're lucky, it'll weed out all the Xbots on these boards by causing them massive strokes & heart attacks.

Wow! I didn't say anything about denying others the pleasure of playing this game. All I said was that if the PS3 version gets additional content not made available for 360 owners, I'm gonna be pissed.

Betrayal? Wow, youve either never had someone actually betray you, or you have a very sensitive personality. As for losing a huge part. nah they wont, theyll gain PS3 players. I know 4 friends who want to preorder the PS3 version.

As for sleeping, well really if this makes you have trouble sleeping I feel bad for you man

Wow! I didn't say anything about denying others the pleasure of playing this game. All I said was that if the PS3 version gets additional content not made available for 360 owners, I'm gonna be pissed.

They dismissed the claims of a PS3 port for so long that I don't think anyone would believe them if they ever said that any content will be PS3 exclusive.
