This is the point I find most laughable.  ME1 was exclusive to the 360 for all of 6 months people.  The reaction around here is approaching what Bungie received when they announced they were going multi-platform.

Just what  i am saying the PS3 is much more complicated to produce a game for
Time is money and you can develop a game faster for the Xbox360 same qualitiy
also what noone want to hear that the PS3 is in theory much better but pratically it isnt

i just looked on a couple other boards and a few comments

alot of people (ps3 im guessing) are just considering this a victory in their "war"

claiming now that xbox lost it last powerhouse that its dead and there is no reason to buy one anymore

But what will this change for you personally when you are playing the game ? Even if the PS3 users consider it as just another game, it doesn't affect you. does it ?  Just relax man.  When I'm playing this game, say, on insanity, and I'm on the Collector ship mission, I won't think "Oh no, PS3 users are also playing this game, this is so unfair".  Well, maybe I'm just weird...

If you've only played Halo 3 you're not really a Halo fan till you've played the other two?

You can't truly be a fan of Final Fantasy until you've played ALL the FF games?

Not sure if anyones posted this yet, but here you go. Ray Muzyka reveals the PS3 edition's bonus content. Apparently they get some or all of the DLC and an "introduction experience that provides the backstory and the things that have happened" in ME1. http://www.joystiq.c...n-integrates-a/

in game informer issue 204 ( portal 2 cover ) a question was asked :to director casey hudson - up untill now mass effect has been exclusive for the xbox 360. do you think ps3 fans will ever get to play through the trilogy ? and the response was that mass effect 2 is only available on the xbox 360 and the PC. so i say this why lie about it if your gonna make one for the ps3 just say so no need to say you wont and then think hey we should do this then when it does come out ps3 fans can be happy about it. and if your gonna let them play part 2 why not making part one for the ps3 as well let them at least feel involved for the trilogy dont start them off in the middle. well that was my vent on the whole ps3 thing i still wanna know when the shadow broker DLC comes out and what about the Cerberus network ?? do they even plan on releasing any dlc for that whats the point of making it seem like its the way to go for ME2 if all the DLC is pay only aside from five they put out awhile ago for the network ... geez

lol what about people who got ME1 for 360 the day it was released, and or ME1 for PC(which is way better in my opinion), yet are no longer users of the 360 or dont have a PC good enough to display ME2 at its best?

outsiders? no
untrue fans? no
hell alot of "fans" havent even read the novels for Mass Effect, and I'm sure the same goes for "fans" of Dragon Age.
but does not reading a novel make someone less of a fan? no. It just means they enjoy the games.

That, I disagree with. If you love the game enough then you're automatically a fan. I haven't played FF 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, or 12 but I'd definitely consider myself a Final Fantasy Fan. Most people don't play the first installments because they never run across them, or cannot afford them at that point in time. There is more to life than just buying video games.

And for the part where PS3 users are A-holes....  Well it seems to me that they're not the ones on Bioware's official forum ripping into the developers for being "sellouts", crying about as of yet un-explained bonus content and calling newcomers to the franchise "outsiders" and "not true fans."
