Laugh if you want but the signs are there...aside from your Crysis, Diablo 3, and Starcraft II and your MMOs pc gaming no longer matters.  It definitely is telling how some devs like Epic are slowly if not all together shafting PC versions of their games.

And of course you've got Ubisoft and their new DRM practices aimed at pc pirates. I don't blame pirates for all of it.  Part of it is that console game is by far more popular and widespread. It's where the moneys at.

So a game coming out for PC and 360 is still a 360 exclusive..just like any game that comes out for PC and ps3 is still a ps3 exclusive.  

That's my believe anyway.

one super console isnt a good idea

like ive said before it would be expensive and they would have no reason to drop the price since they arent competing with anybody. they would have us by the balls. and can pull em anway they please.

and the games will just be lazy repeats with fresh paint.

this is another reason why im upset about handing mass effect over to the ps3
on top of that ps3 has been getting exclusive content on quite a few of the multiplatform games.

that makes the xbox obsolete and thats bad

Guys i think we saw this coming. EA is a company that releases games multiplatform. IF microsoft really did give a damn about mass effect then they would have bought bioware and the game would still have been exclusive. Look at sony. Media molecule made a good game (littlebigplanet). sony knew that they might go multiplatform so they bought the company. If there really is someone to blame, blame microsoft.

Can we just get one thing straight Pc gaming is indeed dying out slowly.In 5 years time it is gonna be console or die.Also I feel sorry for my fellow Microsoft because EA did them dirty.

I really don't believe PC gaming will die before the consoles. It's prospering actually.

lol Steam is a service dude, people that are a part of it invest in it, they gave free copies of L4D2 because of a screw up on their part, not because "o gee wiz we oughta give out some free **** to everyone today", free updates lol what game doesnt have free UPDATES.

The original team fortress 2 had six maps, now it has 35, adress me another game of another company with that kind of upgrades.

Man, activision charges you $15 for three maps (or something like that), Valve gives you 29 maps for free, tell me that's not amazing for something your are receiving without extra cost. I think those maps are something that requires far more work that most paid DLC.

And adress me a company that on top of redeeming their mistake, gives you a free game to compensate their faults.

They do not make games because they love their fans, they make games because that gives them money, but that proves you can be a profitable company, earning tons of money and still be thankful to your fans for making you what you are, no tricks, no lies, just an honest relationship with your costumers.

I blame both equally.

If MS had a chance to buy Bioware and didn't then they ultimately are the retarded and lost a big time exclusive.

To me Mass Effect has/had the potential to reach Halo status for the 360. But that will never happen now.

Anyways I'm still pissed of at Bioware mostly and I refuse to buy ME3 brand new anymore.  As it is I have doubts that ti will even be an RPG given how they totally removed that aspect from ME2.

Team Fortress 2 on the Xbox and PS3 (Orange Box) is highly primitive compared to the PC version because of the countless updates. and yes, activision charges $15 for 3 maps and 2 remakes for a broken game.

You make zero sense. I can understand when PC gamers are mad about Fable 2 and Gears of War 2 and 3 - they have first games, but never got sequels. Yes, this is something to be mad about. But Mass Effect 2 on PS3 takes nothing from those who played it on 360 or PC. And you still get the third game. What's your problem?

I'm glad that now I get to choose which version to buy. I was about to buy ME2 for PC, but I love trophies and given option will buy it for PS3. There is zero chance that Mass Effect 3 won't come to 360 like Gears 2 never came to PC. So, no worries for anybody.

I just hope Bioware does not include exclusive in-game content on the PS3 version. How long did we have to wait just for DLC armor that comes in pieces? Why no helmet toggle? DLC with new maps of current entitlements for DLC armor could have fixed that. If the PS3 version has exclusive content, I WON'T but ME3!

Get new players caught up wit the story. I'm with that, Microsoft won't release the ME1 to any other consoles (they published it). Give them DLC for free. I'm with that, they had to wait a year just to play the game. Just don't give them EXCLUSIVE content. If there is something new available at the PS3 launch, give it to all of us. I paid full price for a Collector's Edition, and bought a new copy of ME1 just so I could play. All I ask is to not be left out.

Some of the profit of the sales of ME 2 PS3, will hopefully go to ME 3.

That's like saying that in the future when there is only one race that's just a mix of all existing races that there won't be racism. "I have the most genetic diversity, my DNA is purer than yours!!!"

It's like how Bioware is taking all the flak for this. How do we know that this was even Bioware's decision? Perhaps it was EA.

So what would happen is, everytime Macrosendo made a new announcement that people didn't like, they'd all start fighting over what part of Macrosendo was to blame for it.

sony owns santa monica (made god of war 3) and made a deal with quantic dream (heavy rain). Microsoft should have bought bioware before they went off to EA. We would still have colored manuals
