Fun...fun.. They said it was fun to see players go insane with the unknown facts.. I agree!

The ps3 players have to pay for the dlc we pc/xbox 360 players payed for, right?

Technically, you could say that we paid for the development that went into ME2 PS3, including the new prologue.

Don't think that will make you feel much better, though.

Some of the profit of the sales of ME 2 PS3, will hopefully go to ME 3.

The whole point of releasing ME 2 for the PS3 is to gain more popularity and funding for the Mass Effect Franchise.

who cares what platform it goes on, let them make their games for whoever, the only people who benefits from console wars and multiplatform games is us the gamers, as we have a broader choice of where we'd like to play the game and thanks to a broader distribution on the market to multiple platforms, more money is made by the companies who work hard to make these games. If they are good companies like Bioware....(not EA, which has no soul) we can all assume that the quality of future games from BW will improve.

That's my main "concern": bonus content or not, the PS3 port will likely not sell all that well with the other versions costing around 10 bucks when it releases. I'm pretty certain BioShock PS3 - which is the best comparison we have - sold pretty poorly as well.

...and aside from my Mass Effect and all other multiplatforms that put to shame your sorry parodies of a game. I am having a hell of a good time swimming in your tears, no offence.

Congrats to all PS3 owners, you will now be able to play one of the best games out there. Sucks though you guys dont get ME1, because I think now matter what BW does to implement choices form ME1 to ME2 for you guys it's just not the same. Hope things change and you guys can get it, especially since it's the better of the two in my opinion.

On a side note I think exclusive games tend to not be as good as multiplatform games, which is why I think BW did the right thing as future BW games will be of better quality through this. It shouldnt matter if a game is on a 360, PS3, PC, etc as long as its a good game of high quality there is not reason to complain.

Please do not delete this post!!

I just read an article on the Wall Street Journal that says Barnes and Noble (the chain of bookstores) is having financial trouble. As a result, Barnes and Noble is having store wide clearances soon. Might be a good time to pick up the Mass Effect Book Series for fans who do not have them yet.

I apologize for this being off topic, but I thought some of you might be interested.

What I don't get is why BW decided NOT to add ME1. ME2 screws you over if you haven't played the first.

It's not Bioware's decision.  The first game was released throght Microsoft, not EA, and they have certain rights to the first game.  Microsoft isn't about to let Sony make free with something that they control, and I don't blame them.  They are, after all, business competitors.

Understood, but playing ME2 without ME1 is like watching the Empire Strikes Back without seeing Star Wars.  Just not the same.  Posted Image

Why in the world would ythey include the second game in the trilogy but not the first?...........(Sniffs into the air) why do I smell EA bullcrap  over this and yes I solely blame them for this, but at least PS3 owners can finally enjoy a game the rest of us have been playing for  8 months now......next year Posted Image

Wii.
It is awesome. Everyone that thinks Sony and Microsoft are not going to become casual-ized are kidding themselves. I love how Sony tries to mask the fact that they are making an exercise game by making it a "fighting" game.

Why aren't they releasing Mass Effect 1 too ? After all that time, they could scrap the exclusivity deal with M$. After all, Microsoft got Final fantasy XIII...

Microsoft are a bunch of b!tches that want to keep ME1's exclusivity to MS-associated platforms. That explains it.

Yeah. I agree but as long as M$ is still flourishing, I doubt it would happen.

Actually if ME1 isn't released, You should be allowed to mod your game (Gibbed, yes it's possible). Even though it isn't the same.
