PS3 versions feel gimped since you can't transfer from ME1. But I'll wait and see how this goes.

I don't care THAT much since I play on PC and have both a PS3 and a 360 but, I hope ME1 is coming as well or else, there's not much point IMO.

Now if they do re-release ME1 with a few upgrades that'd be nice.

Not necessarily. They could be farming this out to another developer, like they did with the PC versions of ME1 and JE.

As for mass effect 1 on ps3, last i heard it was legaly impossible on ps3, i assume they'll simply have you select from the various choices from ME1 via stasus selects at the beginning and go from there

tbh unless they release ME1 on ps3 as well, its pretty much a waste of time for me, as I have it on Xbox and I can carry on my saves on Xbox

This is very good news — and I don't own a PS3.

ANYTHING that broadens the fan base makes ME more viable. ME2 sales were good but not blockbuster.

According to PS3 sites, ME2 is the most requested game they have. It's exactly the time of long, "talky" game they're prone to like.

The more people to buy it, the better, IMHO.

This is not going to be good, lol. It's really one of Microsofts bread and butter games it must a feel like a dagger in the heart to them but then again didn't microsoft publish ME1?

My problem isn't that ME2 is coming to PS3, it's that with this ME3 will be pushed to late 2012 or 2013
