Ok while i am very happy its coming to PS3 (Couldnt care less for the fan boys) the hours of obnus content leaves me a little annoyed, does this mean just having the DLC already released included? (in which case im fine) or stuff that you didnt have time to put in on the xobx and pc mass effect, mordin/grunt confrontation spring to mind.
If the PS3 version ends up being a more refined polished game with 'hours' of content added, you're going to see a lot of unhappy fans
In 2011 the PS3 version will be sold with all DLC released to date (DLC will be done by then). It will sell at full retail price. At the same time, The 360 version with all of the DLC will be released as a "Game of the year edition".
FACT.

If this is what it turns out to be...I will try hard the next couple years to get out of ME...I have one and two...all the books...if they give the PS3 some stuff I cant get with me 360 I will try very hard to just lose interest all together...that would be a major screw you fan in my book

It's a no brainer to take such a great game to PS3, and why not? We all love Mass Effect, why wouldn't we want more players to get to enjoy it? The more the series sells, the bigger the IP will become.
Just explain the bonus content Bioware, and do it quickly before this snowballs. Pretty please..

Why? i'm a PC gamer myself and I'm glad a larger audience will be able to enjoy Mass Effect 2. I'm not gonna be selfish about it.iNixiRir wrote...

Its not about it going to the PS3...Its about the possibility of them getting content we cant get...Its OUR game heck we made it popular...we deserve access to all content for it...thats just not right for it to be any other way.
EA/Bioware likes money too much. They will want to sell all extra content to everyone. Even if the PS3 version comes with something new... it will be able to be purchased as DLC by 360 users or be on the 360 goty edition.

Hmmm, not bad news but this "hours of bonus content" statement worries me. That would be SO unfair if the PS3 was given more missions and story elements. Since ME1 is probably not coming to PS3 is makes me wonder if the whole choices and impact idea will be pointless in ME3? Maybe out choices in ME1 will hold no weight in ME3......I sure hope that isn't the case....[/quote]
That's my worry too. http://social.biowar...5/index/4472021

Otherwise I don't see the point. Everyone talked about how the best part was seeing how your file from 1 affected the world in the second.
Either way I will still it get. Pending all DLC and some bonuses are in place.

I wonder what extra content PS3 players will have for NOT buying the game as soon as it came out...
ill be pissed if ps3 gets the dlc to play as illusive man or something along those lines. if you look at batman arkham asylum the ps3 got the play as joker scenario so whos to say it cant happen with t.i.m

I was only wondering how PS3 would play ME2 without any choices from ME1...Now that adds an entirely new thing to think about....Will out 360 ME1 choices matter in ME3 now that ME3 will be for PS3 too? Jesus, there is no good to come from this but money in their pockets...its bad news for us...I highly doubt ME3 will be different for 360 then PS3...meaning our choices are gonna be jhacked now.
