Calm yourselves, friends. This seems to be what Bioware plans on doing:

My theory is that this "hours of bonus content" they're advertising will be like a 3-4 hour "pre-ME2 mission" that'll make it possible for the players to make the choices of ME1 they want for ME2. Kinda like a condensed, crappier ME1.

Otherwise, they'll have to create a "canon" for the PS3 players that they can't opt out of. PS3 players with no possibility Wrex would cause riots.

I, for one, am completely stoked about this. I'm still on my first XBox, and I'm sure I'm living on borrowed RROD time, so having the PS3 version will be nice. I prefer the PS3, and not having to use multiple disks will be nice. I hope the graphics are better, on a large HDTV, the XBox version kinda suffers from vector 'jaggies'.



I wonder if there will be any way to port the XBox save files into the PS3 version? That would be really cool if that were possible.

The "hours of bonus content" is likely just the DLC that's been released so far. Things like Kasumi, Overlord, and the Shadow Broker DLC. They're not going to give ps3 owners anything significant unless they also release it on 360.

But all the reviews said, with I agree with... there are moments in ME2 that without playing ME1, they'd have no affect on you at all..

this.  360 GOTY edition will all bonus content will also be released at the same time.

ea isnt making additional system add ons for a system like ms dude.  ms is on this whole thing about kinect and bs avatars and honestly i think this alone is why 360s constantly crash do to the new crap they add to the systems. im currently on my 9th 360. ea has changed because lets face it they gave us a great game like dead space and me2. the whole idea for dlc and money is what every buisness does. im not suggesting ea cant be greedy or somewhat the same but at least they got the ball rolling to change

They've been at least 5 million ahead of PS3 the entire generation, 99% of multiplatform games sell better on 360, 1st party games sell better on 360 than ps3 (though there is more 1st party games on ps3, they just don't sell well), xbox live continues to embarrass psn in features and makes them almost $1 billion a year in revenue alone..

All the while Sony has bled money this gen, and is just now...4 years later, making a little bit of money on the ps3.  I'm sure MS is really crying.

Its not losing anything. Anything published by Microsoft wont appear on the PS3. Ps3 only getting ME2, because EA now own it. I wouldnt be suprised in this was always planned like Mass effect PC and 360 were just only timed exlusives

only reason why ms is winning is because theyll pay 40 million to keep something exclusive. now that to me is greedy

What the hell you've got all xbox games coming to PS3, and what do we get oh yeah MGS Rising, we dnt even know what the story is about, Bioware sorry but you are making a mistake sorry but this is true, dont even think about it, yes i am bragging and raging right now because Sony is getting our buzz and we dont get any of their *fantastic games* like Uncharted and Halo wont be going to PS3 because Reach is the last halo game.

And any bonus content on the PS3 is not fair as we xbox lovers(if there is any one loyal on this thread) should agree. and besides its too latefor ME1 to come to PS3 and they cant make a ME2 for PS3 because it must be an insult to the fans. Sorry but im just saying whats on my mind about this news!

Not realy, if ps3 players want to play ME1 they will have to buy a pc or 360.

theres really no difference from the 2 graphic wise. the only reason ps3 is not sticking with gamers ( myself included) is because the gaming library they have dosent please me. if ps3 had a bigger and even decent library than i may buy a ps3 heck the psnetwork is gona get all the dream cast games to download so thats a start

watch the bonus content will be the first contact war than a quick run down of me1 then cuts to me2

Damn, it looks like I'll have to buy all the DLC again... but on the PS network. It also looks like my run through on the PS3 won't have Wrex alive since ME isn't on the PS3 and therefore, no Wrex
