I want to fight like 4 of these things all at once.

Definately seems like a GoA Harvester/flesh golem.

Isnt that a Chantry symbol? Maybe Tevinter?

from what i saw from the screenshot given in the EA conference those graphics from cgi could be very well be the real graphics of the game if not close to it.

Look, I get it. You want to show how BADASS your game is, and even a hint of a female Hawke would ruin that because we know that women can't ever be awesome. But given that it IS possible to play as a female Hawke, I find it just a TINY BIT offputting that the trailer uses language that implies Hawke must a man's man and could never be a girl ever.
Seriously, it's not that hard to say "people" instead of "men."
I need to avoid all trailers because they are more likely to drive me away from DA2 than get me hyped up for it.

It looks FAR more practical for fighting in than the full plates in DA:O.leonia42 wrote...
I like it too.. I also like how "practical" it is with the pouches and what not, it looks more belieavable than some of the fantasy armour we see in these sorts of games.

Reminds me alot of the sacred ashes trailer, which wasn't much like the game at all, and on that note was the glowing eye thing just for cinematics like in SA?
Yup- I'm sure people will be moaning when the actual gameplay is released and looks nothing like the trailer.
What is up with Hawke's infatuation with his bloody nose? Seriously, does wiping blood across your nose grant you magical powers or something?

Well, when I heard the beginnings sounds of that guitar, I was like "D: No...don't do it!" and then I heard a choir, and was like, "Thank you....thaaaank you BioWare".

Am I the only one who LOVES Hawke's default armor? Maybe it's because I'm Asian or maybe it's because I enjoy Final Fantasy games but I actually like the influences of East Asian armor and weaponry. *shrug*
I liked the old Final Fantasies, but I start to get indignant when I see armor that IS NOT designed for it's function, which is to provide protection for the wearer, but instead is designed for a JPOP Fashion Runway like the "armor" from FF13
That's why I loved the Sacred Ashes Trailer, the Warden's armor was believable

You then said that you didn't like the Sacred Ashes trailer (so you must be aware that it obviously doesn't represent the gameplay at all)
Now your either an idiot or a troll, take your pick.

No I like his armor too. I'm not the biggest FF fan in the world though (thought 7 and 8 were quite good), and the gauntlet/pauldron is a bit rediculous - although somewhat in line with what Gladiator's sometimes wore. However I really like the rest of the design, such as the furs and weapon.

Perhaps Bene Gesserit escapees from the Dune novels.

Kate Mulgrew being back=totally awesome.
No more fond of the new art direction here than I was in the stills. I can ignore that the Qunari are unrecognizable as the same race, but that armor on Hawke is really hideous.
I have to agree. It sort of stinks of Cloud from FFVII
