And Jersey Shore has made it into DA2?

Wow. That seems a bit of a stretch and awfully critical of something as silly as word choice. There's just no pleasing some folks, huh? :P

Wow, it looks like they took suggestions to make magic more badass very seriously. Spells that creates crazy spirit arms to literally rip baddies in half? Yes, please!

I'd like to be cool like the naysayers and say it was "meh", but I squealed like a silly little fangirl, inaccurate CGI trailer or not. And while I'll only play female Hawkes, I must say that Mr. Hawke was looking very sexy.

So when does the next trailer come out? MOAR!

Did you read the IGN article?   Is "fist pump" not recently popularized by Jersey Shore show?  I'm simply highlighting the professional author's use of "n00b"  "kick-ass" "replaced with more awesome" and "fist pump"

If you skip her attempts at humor, the article provides some very good info.
  • Leveling up has *NOT BEEN DUMBED DOWN*:happy::happy::happy:  No "mission rank" screen.   True Skill Trees this time around!  Exactly what I had asked for (less linear leveling up options)
  • Full control of party members!
  • Tactical choices in combat remain
  • Improved enemy and friendly AI
  • now with more Kick Ass Aweome Bad Ass non n00bs!  (kidding!)
  • Far less Mass Effect than we feared
I'm 10x more positive now

Good trailer. Is it wrong that I quite fancy both Hawke and the Qunari?

Also, cheers Saibh for the hi-res screenies x

Not at all.  Male marketing Hawke is...really attractive.  Which kinda weirds me out since I never found dude Warden or Sheploo all that great.  Maybe it's because Hawke has less of the hulking action guy thing going on in the CGI trailer.

God I want to know what Hawke's fire abilities stem from.  SO BADLY.  DO WANT.

I agree. I didn't see Male Shepard attractive at all. I can't say the same for the male Hawke.

Saw trailer and am giddy with delight  like the addicted fanwoman that I am.  The possibilities of new adventures to do, new companions and things to kill!Posted Image

Hope I enjoy it as much as I enjoy being a DOA addict. Can't wait! Posted Image

Call me a moron for being excited over it but I really don't care. Life is to short to live without  having excitement over something. Posted Image

My first reaction was "You made us wait this long for a 2-minute trailer?"

My second reaction was, "Holy****wtfdidhejustdo to that poor Qunari bastard!?"

Badass trailer, Hawke looks amazing. Since he was fighting so well with his melee weapon, and had spells, can I assume Arcane Warrior is coming back? *squee*

At least he doesn't have a grin that says "get in the van kids, I have candy" like good old Sheploo had.

Not a bad trailer, better than the Sacred Ashes one in my opinion...which accounts for nothing (it's the internet afterall). It was funny to see Hawke get his butt kicked in melee then decide to use magic to win. I wish some of the "hot-dawgin" (weapon twirling, goofy posturing) wasn't in the fight scene but sadly people still don't seem to believe you can have cool fight scene that are also realistic. Hey, it's possible, consult some martial artists next time you make a cutscene! Overall it wasn't too bad though.

Shiny trailer, but I'm part of the community who prefers seeing gameplay vids. I found myself squeeing more at the snips of game screens at the background while Laidlaw was speaking.

Yeah, I was happier seeing the shot of Flemeth and Varric as in game models behind Laidlaw and Hawke and Bethany in different armor than the actual trailer

Oh ok, can these pics be found on the internets somewhere? :)

...

Where did you see this?

The pictures of Flemeth and Varric? They were on the screen behind Mike Laidlaw as he was talking in the conference.

 Me wants soundtrack..................................................naow. :o

Also, that's one epic trailer. Sadly, now I've developed an endless thirst for more information, which is (to say at least) tormenting (correct spelling/wording?).

Anyways, can't wait for more.:)

There is a screenshot at IGN where Hawkes armour is different than what we have seen, i will be sad if i can;t have the armour we have been seeing all over the place and in the Trailer, i know a lot of people don't like it, but i love it.

To be fair most people I've seen around here have been confident most of this stuff would still be in the game, due to the fact thats what the devs have been telling us from the start. Glad to see some people are becoming more positive now though. :)

What happened to the Qunari in the trailer makes me think about the chicken in the Fable 3 trailer. Though both are different, it's still a brutal way to go.

Guess he had to spilt though, not like he could hang around forever.

Hmm. I didn't like the flashy 'flourishes' and that jump attack (which I think's overused...then again, when I still attended Wushu demos, I think both the spear and staff forms had those, not sure if they're still in the routines).
The form looks a bit Chinese (but with less 'finesse'? Maybe that's intentional to make it look less like a Wushu routine?)

I did kinda like the disarm. Methinks he should have blocked less (more evasion...then again, maybe that bit I was referring to was probably because that AoE thing the Qunari did stunned him?), but overall the fight was ok. (not great, but ok)

Hehehe. I probably won't get Fable 3, but that trailer was GREAT. I actually felt a bit sad at the end (maybe ensuring that I won't get that game  )

www.gametrailers.com/video/intro-cinematic-fable-iii/702481 - the chicken trailer, if anyone's curious (not really a trailer, apparently...intro. still...  )
