That was one of the most disappointing trailers I have ever seen. You seriously couldn't have shown the guy being ripped in half? You cut away and just have the sound? Seriously lame.

Also, I'm sick of seeing that guy's face. This is a game where we're supposed to make our own character to play as but we're constantly blasted with that guy's face. How about making him wear a helmet?

All of these answers seem... reasonable of course ) thank you. Men are always ready to risk their lives fighting unpredictable battles even if they have a choice, just to show off! ;p

I hope they will give this hawke-trailer-look in the character creator as default because he looks great, I'd like to play him;) trying to make similar character may not turn out that perfect!

Very nice CGI, but the trailer was alittle on the "meh ok" feeling (to me anyway).
Was hoping you would go all epic on us like you did with the ME2 trailer & previous DAO videos, ah well perhaps next time!.

ME2 pretty much gave away the plot, though. Like ME did, actually. They seriously need to do a better job in that game to not spoil 90% of the game in describing it.

Epic trailers tend not to work well without giving away most of the story.

omg i thought it was awesome, although i do have some quetions. will flemeth be a party member? (please let her be a party member ), as a mage can u use more than fire and blood magic?, as of now we have only seen fire type magic and blood , tell me there is more lol pleeeeease. and i cant wait to see character customisation. my female will be awesome and i like the way they have the new body for them, although i do like strong women.

No, the hammer is for TEEEEAGAN.  We need a different weapon of choice pun for Hawke.

Though I'm not gonna like, Carver Hawke might be the most unfortunate name I've ever come across.  Or at least among the most unfortunate names.  I'm going to hope that your brother dies simply out of mercy.  Poor kid must have been picked on like none other.

I didnt hate the Templars as much as the Chantrey itself. Like with any zealots, the Templars do what there instructed to do by there religious leaders , kinda like the mage chick in the tower who feels that her powers are a curse .... her name escapes me for the moment,  but you run into her during the Mage Origin story.

It would seem that in the event of an abomination, the Templar function is a necessary one , but its kinda like the cops. No one wants them around, but the moment your robed or shot at there the first ones you call:police:. Go figure  .

I don't think the templars were "neutral" towards magic, they were conditioned to hate it. So it's not like they were "guarding" the place, it was far too personal for them to be like cops. My opinion anyway.

Very true, they were conditioned to hate it for the most part, but lets not forget Cullen . There was still free will among the Templars. If you ran a female mage, Cullen even had a thing for your character . The whole event with the blood mages takeing over the tower and entrapping him and killing off the other templars around him is what pushed him over at the end, but not originaly, he was neutral to going on's .

I really enjoyed the trailer.  Much to my surprise, I really liked the gritty feel of the scene.  I hope this translate well to game play.  My only sadness is that I cannot romance the male Hawke.
