I haven't played Bayonetta, but doesn't she have an attack where she summons a giant version of her own heel? I hate to point out such a similarity, but there it is.

Am I the only one who LOVES Hawke's default armor? Maybe it's because I'm Asian or maybe it's because I enjoy Final Fantasy games but I actually like the influences of East Asian armor and weaponry. *shrug*
No I like his armor too. I'm not the biggest FF fan in the world though (thought 7 and 8 were quite good), and the gauntlet/pauldron is a bit rediculous - although somewhat in line with what Gladiator's sometimes wore. However I really like the rest of the design, such as the furs and weapon.
I also like the armour. Loghain clanking around DAO in a vast metal suit always pushed at my suspension of disbelief. Even more than the elves, dwarves and magic did. Weird.
It´s the kind of armor you would wear in battle, Hawke´s is the kind of armor that would get you killed in a battle.

I liked this trailer.The qunari look bad ass.
I won´t play GoW even if I could now. . Not my type of game nor main character anyway. About Hawke´s leaving for the end the powerattack, just remembered Rurouni Kenshin, an attack so strong than it may damage the one who uses, so it is used when nothing else worked. Think of Blood Magic or the Warden Taint active Blood Powers. Lucky Hawke had it. After going so arrogant to the Qunari, getting killed so fast wouldn´t be epic.
man after seeing everything evryones poiting out im even more excitied..the harvester was in it, flemeths dragon form was, the dude hawke faought may have been a quanari..im really excited for this game..next year WILL ROCK..i dont know if 2011 will be as good as this year but im really looking forward to dragon age 2, gears of war 3, crysis 2, and escpacially RAGE
I hope they will give this hawke-trailer-look in the character creator as default because he looks great, I'd like to play him;) trying to make similar character may not turn out that perfect!
Yep, he looks far better than the Sacred Ashes Warden who didn't fit the origin at all.
I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't see any gameplay footage, however given what the trailer was for I can't really blame Bioware, I'm sure gameplay footage will come out in time.
The trailer shows a Hawke that can do that. Now, this could be somewhat misleading if in the actual game, we cannot create a character that can successfully combine melee fighting and spell-casting.
Arcane Warrior was in DA:O too.
Arcane warriors didn't pull off a set of flashy combat moves remniscent of action games. Video is misleading and underwhelming.
Seems from this, that I have seen, she has given him this power and as others of have said,to do what she wants done and he also gets to rise to power........seems Morrigan will be one she will be after and also the Warden too. I hope so, just let me play as the Warden when the times comes, Hawke seems like a evil charcters and I like that, it's a change, Warden and Morrigan and Hawke, Felmeth. Light one if you ya got one.
Well the army coming towards them is a lot of Templars, so I'de bet they are mages. They don't look like all women and I can't see any resemblance to Morrigan at all.. So Tevinter mages would be my guess.

See the dragon in the background (upper left)? I have a feeling that it is Flemeth, and it appaers that the mages are not intimidated by it, so the dragon might be on the mage's side. Perhaps it's a Dragon Cult?
I really enjoyed the trailer. Much to my surprise, I really liked the gritty feel of the scene. I hope this translate well to game play. My only sadness is that I cannot romance the male Hawke.

I'd speculate that Hawke fighting the Qunari is the glimpse into why he is the chamption of Kirkwall. Seens like an arena style match one on one and even the backdrop I think suggests that.

The Mage in the middle, could be Morrigan, I just don's see Morrigan, being around alot of people at all.
