Like I said in that other thread:

"What was that stupid ANIMEesque crap!!! To be honest I was expecting as much but that was just plain ugly. If this is anything to judge by... Well let's not say I'm overly eager when it comes to buying this game.

Shame on you for this, Bioware. You did this just to increase sales. The initial unique feel of the game is ever more rapidly fading away."

Hawke: Battle Mage? Arcane Warrior? Some new warrior? I hope he's an Arcane Warrior since I loved that spec and wish it had more weapons.



Oh yea, anybody thought it cool how he mixed both magic and melee to do those cool flame blasts?

No more fond of the new art direction here than I was in the stills. I can ignore that the Qunari are unrecognizable as the same race, but that armor on Hawke is really hideous.
I wonder if this Hawke is an archane warrior, otherwise what appears to be spellcasting is a tad confusing.... The CGI was extremely well done.

Well, I kinda like it you know, maybe Im going totally crazy here, but reminded me of Franzetta... and hes my GOD...

and regarding Flemeth, pretty sure for what we here that she intends  Hawke to play a role regarding her objectives. No doubt about it know.

Seems like Hawke will have some special power, which is GOOD IMO to separate him/her from the rest of the party gameplay-wise, damn it's so awesome!

Cgi trailers are so old now, people been burned by misleading cgi trailers ever since da:o, i won't judge till a real in game trailer comes out, and the question dodging stops.

I would have liked to have seen more REVEALING footage, this trailer was awesome but there were only like 5 seconds of it (the flashes) where I felt like I learned anything about the actual story. Hawke fighting the Quanari was way cool, but just cool moves aren't enough to impress me. Sacred Ashes was different because we got to see a lot of different characters doing different, cool things.

That said, Flemeth as the narrator was awesome, those five seconds of flashs with Hawke were FASCINATING (WHO'S THE PIRATE WOMAN??) and this trailer ACTUALLY managed to really endear me to default Hawke, he was INCREDBILY attractive instead of all conan-esque, and I felt like he was a real person with emotions instead of RAWR BADASS SMASH.

It's a reveal trailer. Relax. And I'm sure that GameTrailers is gonna do a frame-by-frame analysis and you'll feel stupid. And even if they don't neither the Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, or Dragon Age: Origins reveals showed off much about the story.
