Anyway, my attention was drawn to the trailer by the pop-block thingy. I must say I'm terribly disappointed, but not surprised that the "default" Hawke seems, once again, to the the male Hawke. The trailer does not give any indication that the player can chose otherwise (and that's especially true of the pop-up speculation version of the trailer - couldn't they have had a pop up stating that Hawke can be female? Honestly), which would definitely turn off some players.

There are actually a few threads about this, both in support of "Lady Hawke" and discussing the marketing issue.  Feel free to chime in.Image IPB

Look, I don't care at all if you think they're taking the easy route, I just pointed out that there is no actual evidence for that statement.

Is there any way to obtain the music used in the trailer? The full song i mean, it's damn epic.

Hope they use it in the game and release it as part of the OST. :)

Epic stuff. Made me want to play DA again. :D

Too true :D Hopefully Bioware will shed some information soon, don't think i could wait till March D=

i've heard some people say that the quanari dodges hawkes stab after hawke dissarmes him of his axe. this isnt true.

if you pause at 0:49 you can clearly see the blade sticking out of the quanari's back.

i'm supprised he can still move like that after being impaled.

Don't know if it's the correct place to ask, but do you think there will be a huge difference in terms of system requirements compared with DA:O? I'm currently replaying DAO on PC and running it smoothly with everything maxed out. Hope DA:2 is not too different. I imagine the requirements will be higher, still I hope to run it in medium details at least.

Did Bioware release the 1080p download option for the Director's Cut/Extended Trailer?

Awesome, I see they're responsible for quite a lot of game-related cinematic awesomeness.

They should recieve a medal or something.

It's downloadable from Big Download here.

Mass Effect 2 looked a bit better than ME1 (or, at the very least, the same) but ran significantly better on most people's PCs. Hopefully Bioware will continue the same trend with DA2.

But, in any case, if you're running with everything maxed out on DA1, you'll have absolutely no problem with DA2. In the end, it still needs to run on about the same graphics level as DA1 (since, like DA1, it needs to release on 360 and PS3 --- which have the same graphics cards they always have =] )

Thanks, I didn't know about ME/ME2 requirements (I've played the console version of both). Good news, though.

I don't think Hawke in the trailer is a blood mage. I think he is a reaver and maybe drunk Flemeth's blood.

It would appear so because I even visited the Blur website and the only DA trailer on their portfolio is the Calling trailer.

They had some help from Blur, since they reuse Morrigan's SA model and a Deep Roads area.

OMG no wonder it looks so real and beautiful....they are the ones who made the trailers for Assassin's Creed 2 7 Brotherhood. I almost fainted when i saw Ezio in the latest trailer
