No, he was just being too cocky ( the walk, the posture at the beginning ) and nearly paid for it, hence  his last resort. Smart mage types don't dally.

i really enjoyed the trailer, i think Hawke is an awesome character, mixing both physcial and magical skill (Which is what i try to do with my character)

It really looks a great game as always i cant wait for it!

That's not what he/she said though.  Also, not everyone is a new customer of BioWare's--some have been playing (and enjoying) their games for years and have come to expect good things from them.

Ehh, I really didn't like the trailer. I hated the combat choreography, I didn't like the new implication of magic, and I didn't like the brooding dialogue from Flemeth. That has nothing to do with why I'm iffy about buying DA2, though. It's more about the new weapon restrictions, the combat streamlining, and the new dialogue system. I hope we get news in the (near) future that changes my mind.

Edit: What do you know? I just saw a post by David Gaider himself in another thread that allieveated my dialogue system concern. Can scratch that off the worry list.

That's not even possible...considering the game starts before the protagonist of DA:O even meets Morrigan. Which essentially means that Hawke can be assumed to be as old, if not older than the warden. Hard to give birth to someone older than you.

Ehh, from the answers David Gaider's been giving for questions, it seems like they're keeping it more grounded.

For example, someone asked if the archdemon was coming back, he just said "No, how could he? He's dead."

Beyond that, a lot of people have confirmed Hawke is not the god-baby.

Because the only difference in action heroes in trailers is what weapons they use. There are a limited number of weapons, so hawke=every other guy with a spear as far as trailers go.

I didn't mean a weapon. Hawke's magic (it may be a blood magic) is like Nero's demon hand. It looks absolutely same

That Growth is what MADE Hawke the Idol he is today. LOOK AT MY STUBBLE! IS THAT WHAT A MAN SHOULD LOOK LIKE ?
