Hokay, biased writer is biased.
not to mention, calling elites noob... oh boy
Was a promising article.
Then it turned to such phrases like n00b, bummer and what not.
Were i not suppose to take the article seriously?. =d
At least it was better than the last one.. "Orcs, goblins, ir imps.. we arent nerdy enough to know the difference"

So we get...Garret(Marian), Carver - warrior, Bethany - mage, and your mother. Then we get an injured Templar and his wife - sword/shield....then 2 out of that group die.
I'm guessing the Templar and your mom die...
agree

Is this article written by that goddamned Orc bastard? Screw it, I'm not reading it.
No, it was written by someone else from another department of IGN, the PC division as opposed to Xbox 360.

Plus, with Carver a warrior, and Bethany a mage, that's make me more tempted to make my Hawke a rogue, just so that the family will represent all 3 classes....lol

I think your mom is almost guaranteed to die. Moms never fair well in fantasy stories. I'm guessing either Avaline or Wesely won't make it either. If after escaping Lothering your next destination is Kirkwall someone with Templar connections would be the most valuable companion. Having Wesely or his wife along would make sense.
I think the final answer of who lives and who dies might surprise you. Might surprise everyone, in fact.
Hawke dies!
But i wouldn't make assumptions just now...afterall Aveline is a "hulk" girl. And in some games moms and sisters do survive (take Assassin's Creed 2 for example). Yay for fem Hawke team!

Good information, however I quickly grew tired of the d00d writing.
These days, it seems that game journalists are either making blatant mistakes, or can't be boethere to write a professional article.
But at least the information is good... this time.

I had the same impression, did he not even proofread that? I spotted several obvious spelling errors.

The author of the article should be shot into the sun. One more badass, awesome, kick ass or dude/bro and I was going to smash ign's server through the internets....injected with more awesome.

Agreed. Everything gets addressed as such. What they are calling badass nowadays is sometimes depressing.marquiseondore wrote...

OK. Is it like an insta-bounce between characters then? Hopefully people who have played the PC demo will come and tell us how it "feels".

About the auto potioning for the squad. Will we be able to turn it off/adjust it?
Yup. Just edit their tactics table, same as you could in Origins.

Well, since you have a guy telling the story.......could it all be a lie or over the top? Since your going the way you are with the story, none of it could be true. So who is to say what is real and what is fake?

Thanks to these images you'll always know what sort of a response your character will give -- there's an olive branch for peaceful approaches, a comedy mask for witty remarks and a fist pump full of aggressive responses.
I suggest cutting the dialogue and leaving only grunts with the same results in DA3. Seriously-are they making this game for mentally challenged ?
