The first time I saw/heard that scene, my mouth stood open the entire time, and a full minute afterwards. I was stunned. Following the feelings that the story tries to convey is one of the most important things for me.
Whenever I play, unfortunatley I can't really see myself as my character. I mostly see them for what they are: protagonists in a great tale. And most of the time I grow close to them.

I kind of invest certain traits of myself in the characters I create such as my admiration for the more statuesque ladies with the more athletic figure such as Aveline, but it's like shanti says when your a big bloke with a little lass it looks like your taking your kid to school and damn do you get some strange looks and even more comments behind your back.
That's one good thing about origins toolset, I could mod myself a qunari body so I felt my lad was more like me (and for awesome qoutes from the qun).
Anyway back on topic with that beautiful speaking voice i'm thinking Avelines voice actor would be a singer maybe, oh and thanks for all the compliments on my ripped off men of harlech song watched zulu a while back and the tune was still kicking around in my bonce refusing to leave.
