I'm gonna have a hard time picking a path to follow with her. Because I think most of her opinions will be about the Mage VS Templars thing...which I just can't pick a side about...so....

I'm gonna level with ya man...I just don't think Marrill is really all that cute...she just looks like an sickly skinny girl.

It's gonna get rather confusing, especially during the 1st playthrough. Someone wants this, the others want that...  I just hope we don't get very 'Doctor Shepard' on everyone.

I'm going to have to brow beat myself into actually using the rivalry path because I'm a gigantic kiss arse and want all my companions to like me. o_o; I have a soft spot for Sten because occasionally you got to fight with him AND not lose lots of approval. Perhaps since my first play-through is gonna be a mage, Aveline will teach me a lesson in how to make your companions begrudgingly accept you...

All 3 parts!?!  btw I think theres some more Fan Art on Page 87 as well as a screen shot on Page 97 that isn't on the front page...I think it's around there...been awhile.

I've been thinking about this, but there must be a scene involving the tavern and everyone drinking.  There must be.  With Aveline just looking on, shaking her head.

This has probably been brought up before, but would you suppose that Aveline is heavily pro-templar because of her husband? I suspect so. Maybe her views change somewhat after her husband dies, in the later portions of the story?

I read somewhere (on the DA wiki I think?) that there is also tension between her and Bethany. My first Hawke (a female mage) is probably going to be disagreeing with her a lot. I hope we can be friends AND rivals, if that is at all possible.

My first play through is going to be as a Mage so I look forward to the interaction. She probably is at least a little bit pro-templar because of her husband. Hell, they'll probably be some nice tension between Aveline and any Mage.

I know we're so used to having the option to 'harden' the goody two shoe characters that we didn't consider you can 'soften' the already hard ones lol.

I thought the 'softening' part was pretty obvious with the comment of 'helping her to come out of her shell.'

Well you could soften Morrigan to some extent in Origins if you get enough approval to be her friend or romance her.
