Have you not seen the thread More sex in undies, Fenris and Merrill confirmed as LI's?

If not I suggest doing so.

The thing is even if those screenshots are accurate who is to say that isn't right before the fade to black then post coitus scene.

Like I said in that thread...I'll withhold judgement on the issue until I see for myself...but still I don't like what I'm seeing. Is it really so hard to replicate ME1's style? That stuff was perfect imo.

As much as I hate to say it; the flak they got with ME1 probably means they are gonna shy away from those (in my opinion) tasteful scenes.

The Vice President of EA sent Fox a letter basicly saying "you guys don't know s*** about this game go f*** yourselves" and Fox totaly shut up. But sadly yes...if ME2's scenes were any indication...Bioware bowed to the pressure and will never risk tastful nudity again.

In my oppinion, they needed something like a slap in the face, but let's not get too much into that.

I would however like to express yet again, that romances in BioWare games (or any other game) don't need to be so 'tasteful' in order to be enjoyed. I know I'm probably a minority on this, but if handled with care, the whole underwear and fade to black thing can be something good.

The main purpose, in my oppinion, of the whole romance scene, is to make the player feel the love that the two characters are expressing to each other. As long as we, as players and mature adults at the same time, can relate to this and feel a sense of beauty and overall "awwwwww", then I think the scene in question is doing it's job

Yes...thats true...but I personaly have a hard time taking a scene seriously enough to do that when...like in DAO...they look like their outright having sex with freakin underwear on. ME2 also lacked any emotion on those scenes and simply looked like they were just gonna f*** instead of make love, big difference imo with the dialogue of Tali's scene making that the only exception imo. If DA2 can do it better I'll take it all back. But as it stands right now...ME1 is their only game in recent years thats done it right...I felt that emotional connection from that scene...I felt that "awww" you speak of. But never have I since.

If not, then there is zero evidence that Aveline is not romanceable. If yes, well, that sucks because romancing her would have been different. She looks noble, tough and I'm sure it could have been a very touching romance, considering her status as a widow.

They said that Aveline wasn't romanceable in DA2. However the way they phrased their response made me think that maybe she'll be romanceable in an expansion or DA3.
