I did not intend to drag Isabella into the conversation. However clearly I needed to explain myself better before returning to the base topic. when I say recreation...I'm talking about things like One Night Stands where it's nothing but sateing lustful urges.

I think the issue of dispute is that the people questioning your position do not see the value in denying those impulses.  Doing so comes off as artificial and ultimately self-defeating.

I understand that...I'm not a religious person or some priest who thinks himself sin free or anything either if thats the impression I am sending. I am also not trying to make people change their ways...I was originally just venting angrily...which tends to lack logical thinking when I do so. I do not consider anyone who does any less of a person, nor do I honestly condem them for their choices in the world...as I said...was just illogical rage. 

So to everyone in the thread who is angry/upset/offended/whatever else....I apologize whole heartedly

Now...back to swooing Aveline!

I don't hate Merrill as a character...I don't hate ANY of the LI's as characters...but like I said several pages ago...For some reason unknown to me I feel a real connection with the video game character known as Aveline. When I learned of her none LI statues I actually felt like I was dumbed by that girl/guy you like half your life. Despite lack of knowledge surrounding her my heart genuinely aches for her...While that may sound strange to some of you...thats just how it seems to be...which has just left be very bitter about what was given...and made me sound like a royal douche bag from my poor choice words in a blind rage.

I've never felt the same connection with anyone else. Be they made of pixels or flesh and bone, Aveline is the first person to drag such feelings from me which is why she such a fantastic character to me.

I think it will take quite a few playthroughs to get past my bitterness...then again it might not...I guess it really depends how Aveline's relationship is by the end of the game...but I'll deff do Isabella on second run through...might take me awhile to get around to more freakin elves though

Oh it's nothing like that, just that certain BSN trolls love to pick at people who feel attached to characters and that last paragraph would be a jackpot for them. But they're just silly trolls anyway so it doesn't really matter.

Two things:



1. I don't hate you. Your holier than thou tirade back there made me want to hit you in the face with a shovel but I don't hate you.



2. You do good work, keep it up. You are very good at describing situations, the fight scene where they fought the Arishok in my opinion could've been more varied (to me it seemed like 'slash, grab, slash,, smash etc') Can't wait for the next edition.
