EDIT:  As a bit of good news.  Thanks in part to kylecouch and Lukas, I will be putting pen to paper for my own fan-fic.  As soon as I know a bit more about mages.  (Which probably means not for another month, but I am starting to draft it.)

And he wants to sit there and pick a fight with people who just saved his butt in the middle of a Darkspawn seige.

Fair enough. Threatening Bethany was a pretty douchey move considering she helped save his life. I'm really curious how he'll react to my Mage Hawke when I play. If he threatens two apostates that saved his life. While he's injured no less. Then this guy just went full retard, and cannot be pardoned.

My thoughts exactly.

I will say he is dedicated.  Perhaps a little too dedicated.  It's best not to insult or threaten those that helped you, while you are injured.

Of course he's going to.  He's been conditioned from birth by the religion of the Chantry to distrust mages.  Upon becoming a templar he'd be trained martially with other like minded folks that are conditioned to follow orders and rules while being addicted to lyrium.  It's still stupid, but quite understandable.  When called on it he does back down which is a small positive.

Nice to see Aveline is capable of being pragmatic.  Because while I getting all over her I got to stick by Bethany she my sister after all and they'll both very likely be in my main party!

It was a stupid move but Wesley listens to reason in the end. He can't be all bad. Aveline obviously loves him a great deal. I'll be sad for her when he inevitably dies.

Mwahahaha! As I predicted a little bit of Avekine goes a long way, quite a few more Aveline converts thanks to that video, and as I have said before, once everyone has played the game I am sure she will be one of the favorites for most people.

Aveline could very well be this protective strong woman who could put her life on the line for Hawke as a guardian...and this footage makes me feel sad.

Sad for Wesley and Aveline.

Almost ironic that Wesley and Bethany may die together...more so that Hawke and Aveline may be together for ten years with Hawke potentially being a mage.

And that Aveline saying "You will not have him!" sometime after this will give me....the feeling of importance...Aveline has jumped to my favorites.

I've liked Aveline for a while, converted to full on love after this video but fans of all stripes need to be honest.  We have no bloody clue which character might be the "most in depth" even Chris Priestly who surely knows a heck of a lot more than we had a character he thought he'd like to bring along on his 'good' playthrough but found he was more of a jerk than he thought.  And the fact that someone thinks a char is lesser because they are not a LI is living in some kind of Bizarro land from what I can figure.  Not that I don't want to romance her myself...
