Dude, I really liked Aveline but your fanfic scared me so much I don't think my PC is ever going to be physically able to perform with an NPC. I even doubt I'll be able to perform for a woman in real life. I think this is part of your evil tactic to hoard all wimmins for yourself.

I must say, I absolutely love Aveline's voice.  Very soothing.  She's definitely going to be a party mainstay on my first playthrough.   

As for who her VA is- Anyone recognize her?

Omg definitely - her voice and her resolve to protect her love...just amazing.  And the darkspawn face punching made me lol and clap - just so well done and that is only the beginning of Aveline.  I can't wait to see what she becomes later

Just saw the demo on youtube...I know Im late to the game, but Aveline is pretty damn awesome! Literally beating a darkspawn to death, the only way that scene would have been better if she ripped off his arm and beat him with it!



That being said, the only ONLY thing that could make Aveline better is if she had chesthair!

I just saw the demo video, too. I'm sorry I ever doubted her awesomeness. She punched the darkspawn, and I nearly wept from the sheer badassery of the moment. Aveline is my new favourite.

I loved Aveline in the video. Watching her punch a darkspawn to death, I kept remembering that demonstration in Ostagar where the guy was all, "Don't get too close!!"



Aveline has no time for that. Aveline is too busy being awesome.

Her voice seems familiar. It seems to me similar to Mama Cousland.

Anyway, she looks really badass in the demo. And more reasonable than her husband.

Its possible that an Aveline romance maybe rendered impossible based on plot points that Hawke must do in order for the story to go on.



For all we know, Hawke maybe harboring a demon of his own, the soul of an old god, or something much darker as the game progresses and certain deals are made. Aveline comes across as the sort of woman who would never enter a relationship if it were to in any way cross her morals and duties.

Same here. I think Bioware is breaking quite a few barriers and gender stereotypes with her character. Its such a rarity to come across a A) Married / Gonna be widowed!,  Attractive, C) Strong, D) Courageous, E) BadMothaEffa, F) Warrior character that is also female and NOT written to be an LI storyline who has biceps that could keeel.

I get the impression I may have to put her down on my eeevil quest for glory and destruction my first playthrough, but I look forward to being BFF forever as a holy templar warrior hawke.

You all just keep twisting the knife.  Now some of us, think these very reason would have made for a compelling romance sub-plot, but to each his/her own.  For some of us, it kind of feels like we are getting the 'Betty' and 'Veronica' sub-plots.   Aren't tropes fun, but that's an arguement for time past and not to get into again.

Punching the darkspawn was so awesome.

EDIT: Also, I can see why she's not an LI, she loves Wesley alot. Even in death I think she will still & always love him.
