After playing that demo 3 times...I have to say this game is awsome...the damn HDTV text ticks me off since I have a SDTV...like most people I suspect. Combat is deff much more fun.

P.S. Aveline kicks ass. And holy crap...her and Carver were at Ostagar...thats uber cool...and so was Hawke if they aren't a mage!

Yeah. It broke my heart when Wesley revealed that while he was on his way to Denereim on Chantry business, he heard Ostagar fell and went out of his way to save / protect Aveline.

It made his death bitter, and he won a lot of love from me despite initial shortcomings. They really did love one another purely and perfectly.

Exactly...I didn't hate Wesley to begin with...was simply jealous he got the greatest lady to ever live...but I kept an open mind...his death is indeed bitter sweet.

Game of the year for sure! And Kyle now that you mentio it, I would be interested to know how many of us have HD tv's only two people I know don't a friend of mine and my parents I have 2, but they are both over 3 years old now:p

 I am really satisfied with my PC version. The graphics are nice to look at and the characters are well defined. The combat is way more fun than in Origins (my oppinion mind you).

Only one thing scares me...

If the decission with Wesley was something easier, I can't even begin to imagine what BioWare has in mind for later in the game  

I'm sure by now that everyone hit the upper-left choice  I noticed immediately after the Isabela mission began, a message popped up with +15 friendship points with Aveline.

At least now we know that she is a character who prefers to be consulted before making a pivotal decission. Her tanking is really BADASS! She was holding the Ogre boss + all the darkspawn waves that came along. My WarHawke was mowing down the hordes while Bethany was healing and dps-ing at the same time.

Edit:  Oh and if Aveline continues to perform that well as a tank, she will never leave my party.  Ever.  My mage builds are excellent support for her.

How high is her DPS in the first section of the game? That was awesome. Plus she makes that ogre battle so incredibly easy.

Experimentation.  That's all it is.  During the game, I doubt I could ever select the bottom-right option.

Didn't have numbers up, but it was fairly decent from what I could tell.  Kept giving her Shield Bash.  That Orge spent a fair amount of time stunned.  Caanot wait to have access to all the spells.  Stonefist and Spirit Bolt are gonna be helpful during that Orge fight.

Not sure about the dps. The combat text was locked off in the demo (a small disappointment for me). I study accounting and I like watching numbers pop up in games  

It was decent for a tank I guess, but it's her ressistance where she really shines. Even Hayder couldn't bring her health down below 50%. I used the taunt ability during each wave (about 3 i think, not sure) and I only had to heal her once with Bethany. No pots were needed. 

And that would be from a Pause and Play perspective. I was mostly doing this out of reflex, I don't really like the real time thing.

Top right gave me -15 as well. Basically giving her a choice is the friendship button.

Her DPS was 70 or so compared 20 or so for a 2H warrior Hawke in the first part of the game. I guess its because of her signature weapon.
