Now I have this urge to play the demo so I can stab Wesley.

Except, it is rather anti-climactic. I understand that if Aveline does it, it's not going to be angry like. But if Hawke does it, shouldn't she do it quicker and more aggressively? Especially after being protective of Bethany.

For me it would be more cathartic. In game, I will probably take the upper-left option every time, unless I plan on playing a ******.

I don't think so.  Having watched the video of Hawke doing the deed, it doesn't seem to be done with anger, and Wesley even thanks you for doing  it.

So, by stabbing Wesley, you are essentially doing him a favor.

I know, it's a mercy killing. I would still do it aggressively if I was Hawke, guess that's just me.

Yeah I actually started giggling in disbelief that this scripted cutscene chose to have them Stab Through Solid Chestplate. The scene is fine up until then, I mean really? That's how you're going to do it? His neck is right there... or you could go for the armpit, that works...?

Exccept being aggresice wouldn't make sense, especially since they pretty much made peace before that.

Wesley even says a prayer from whichever of the Hawke sibling dies. So really, when it comes for the Mercy kill, Hawke would probably have made peace with him.

After all, by that point it's clear Wesley isn't really a bad guy.

I laughed at that   When I did it in the demo I thought  Wow, that's soft armor he's wearing

while I too see it as laughably unrealistic, it's entirely possible that the stab was through the little sword shaped hole on the templar armor. Fits in with the positioning of the weapon by Aveline or Hawke, and, although somewhat stretching it, does make sense.

Why the Chantry needs to make armor with a frigging hole in it though, I don't know.....



But then again the Chantry people are frigging nuts beyond belief, so yea.

This is about the only caption I would get that's of interest. 



It seems like a certain woman can't keep her eyes away from Hawke. Still not sure if this is a good or bad thing =))
