Boudicca led and uprising, she inspired people, and that she slaughtered legionnaries is a legend and movie fiction. And Joan of Arc is an exaggeration, I'll remind you. Maybe you will write about Xena or smth?
But I didnt know about this army of women of the Fon of dahomey... Seems like there have been an army of women after all...thats really interesting.
And I never said that women cant be warriors. I wont repeat myself, u can read one of my posts above, where I explain my point of view about a woman being the strongest and toughest.
Nope. Boudicca was a warrior queen in a society where you'd lose your position as a noble if you couldn't kill. And, no, Joan isn't an exageration. Maybe that movie with Milla Jovovich, but I never saw that one.
I'm talking about two women, who lead very, very violent men on very violent crusades. Both in times when political generals had a habit of 'disappearing' once their men found out that they couldn't lead worth ****.
I'll also leave you with an Irish law from 627, banning women from being soldiers. That rather implies that before than, there were women soldiers, doesn't it? After all, why create a law that addresses nothing?
